As a Cross-Channel Marketing Intern, you will assist in the day-to-day operational activities for our Sportstyle, National Chains, Soccer and General Sporting Goods businesses. Responsibilities include creation of creative briefs, marketplace analysis and product seeding efforts. In this role, you will gain practical industry experience in account marketing, the go-to-market process and campaign management. You will be regularly exposed to all facets of the marketing group, as well as merchandising, sales and external agency partners. This experience will be invaluable for anyone interested in a career in brand marketing.
The candidate must be currently tracking towards or recently graduated with a degree in marketing or communications. A strong understanding of the lifestyle footwear and apparel industry is a plus.
Responsibilities:
• Coordination of assets for marketing programs, including interaction with our in-house creative services team
• Regular consumer research on sportswear and fashion industry trends as well our competitive landscape
• Assistance with event planning and coordination
• Build key partner database and maintain regularly
• Supports marketing team with processing vendor invoices, ordering partner seeding product and budget reconciliations
• Overall day-to-day team support
Qualifications:
• Marketing or Communications major
• Detail oriented with excellent writing and organization skills
• Strong computer skills, with knowledge of basic MS Office programs
• Proven ability to work independently and multi-task
• Creative, self-motivated and proactive
• Must be able to commit for one semester
• Must be able to commit to at least 4 days a week, 9-5pm
• Must have own mode of transportation and ability to commute to Westford, MA
