Purpose
Primary
• Responsible for executing against the overall digital and social strategy for the Brand overall, with a key focus on Sports Performance, within Brand Communications driving best-in-class digital/social communications planning, budget management, analytics and practices for the business globally
Secondary
• Serve as the day-to-day contact and face of Global Brand Digital/Social Communications to Global Category Digital/Social Leads, Newsrooms and Media
• Support the planning, alignment and internal communication relevant to this function
Key Responsibilities
• Manage and support execution of the overall digital / social strategy within a category, including which tools, activities and execution will deliver the best return
• Support the management of agencies on the creation and development of digital and social campaigns and initiatives
• Integrate with cross-functional departments to ensure flawless execution and seamless connection plans.
◦ Newsrooms, eComm, Anaytics, IT, Media, PR, Customer Service, CRM, Retail, etc.
• Support efforts to get the best return from the allocated budget
• Leverage key digital analytics to monitor success of digital and social campaigns and shape future strategies
• Coordinate and distribute documentation of project information with internal and external groups.
• Utilize internal resources (digital analytics and research) to deliver consumer insights which inform the global strategy
• Support development and be responsible for the execution overall brand publishing strategy, working closely with the Newsrooms to ensure strategic alignment
• Ensure creation and integration of social and influencer content and reviews in ecomm, retail, experience and other relevant brand platforms
• Develop media strategy and plans in partnership with Category social leads and Newsrooms, acting as the social expert on all media planning for Brand-led moments
• Work with local markets to ensure smooth, clear processes and ways of working.
• Create clear, continuous planning and reporting processes for all Brand-led campaigns
• Coordinate and distribute documentation of project information with internal and external groups.
• Utilize internal resources (digital analytics and research) to deliver consumer insights which inform the business unit global strategy.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
• Deep-rooted understanding of an ever-changing digital and social landscape
• Advanced experience in project management – including critical path management to deliver projects on time and within budget
• Experience with digital and social production process and technical nature of developing digital marketing initiatives
• An ability to collaborate and manage platforms and tools used by multiple functions.
• Working knowledge of:
◦ office software,
◦ development languages (including but not limited to: HTML, DHTML, Flash, Javascript, XML, asp, java, CSS),
◦ analytics systems,
◦ standard CMS platforms; and,
◦ digital channels (social, owned properties and emerging technologies).
• Demonstrated understanding experience delivering solutions or services via new and emerging web technologies.
• Category knowledge across Sport Performance
• Experience partnering with and leading internal resources
• An ability to articulate which elements of digital / social marketing are suitable for different campaigns and how they deliver results
• Detail-oriented and highly organized
• English (spoken and written).
Qualifications
1. Degree in Marketing, Communications, Retail, Digital or a related field. Master Degree / MBA a plus.
2. 4+ years’ industry and / or relevant work experience.
3. Fluent written and spoken English language skills.
