Bonobos is looking for a Director of Corporate Strategy & Development to join our team and serve as a trusted partner helping to shape the course of the world’s largest retailer.
Reporting to our Chief Financial Officer, the Director of Corporate Strategy & Development will be tasked with project-based duties while supporting and influencing our engaged and passionate leadership team at this pivotal moment. In this highly cross-functional role, you will have a significant impact on our transformation and the retail industry as a whole, helping to drive our strategy, planning, and execution by supporting several focus areas within the business.
What you’ll do…
• Work collaboratively with business unit partners and corporate support teams to drive enterprise strategy execution, and partner on segment or functional strategy projects
• Support the development of strategic frameworks, customer and competitor insights, technology trend assessments, and business cases to ensure the leadership team is engaging in strategic conversations, leading our course in the right direction
• Manage complex research and analyses to drive business case development for key strategic focus areas
• Handle the financial modeling of potential strategic decisions across brand incubation, acquisitions, licensing, etc.
• Lead the process across our portfolio of brands for financial planning and reporting, managing corporate reporting guidelines, assisting brands in financial target setting, and consolidating financial performance metrics against annual operating plans for senior leadership
• Develop strategic reports to highlight macro and consumer trends, key competitors and new entrants, compelling business models, disruptive/emerging technologies—and successfully translate these into comprehensive insights and implications for Walmart

• Have 5-10 years of strategy consulting experience, ideally within the retail, grocery, e-Commerce, or CPG industry
• Preferably have worked in a corporate strategy role for a large multi-national corporation
• Are comfortable communicating to senior management and business leaders in a clear and effective manner
• Can drive cross-functional initiatives involving partners from across the business
• Are detail-oriented and able to think strategically and proactively, and have strong problem-solving abilities
• Are a self-starter with well-developed interpersonal and influencing skills, and have the ability to maintain strong relationships across all levels in the business
