Under Armour is looking for a Sr. Director of Global Visual Merchandising who can develop the vision for how the brand is represented at retail across the globe, to build brand and category growth and exceed customer expectations. This person will develop and communicate the global visual merchandising strategies, guidelines and directives, to be executed globally by each region. They will be a key creative partner to product, merchandising and marketing.
Responsibilities: Global Visual Merchandising
• Partner with Global Merchandising Team, Brand Marketing and Brand Creative Team to develop Global Retail Vision and Visual Merchandising stories for the season.
• Partner with Regional Merchandising Teams and Channel Visual Merchandising Teams to ensure that Global Vision is translated to key channels and geographies.
• Utilize the mock store to test for and ensure corporate buy-in for optimal seasonal sets
• Play a leading role in milestone GTM meetings such as Playbook and Pre-Game to ensure global alignment and direction.
• Work closely with the Global Environments team to develop new fixtures and marketing elements to complete the in-store presentation.
• Create the seasonal merchandising and styling direction for global in-store presentations
• Assess our competition, monitor and provide feedback on findings
• Participate in market tours to evaluate business needs and assess the level of impact of current strategies
• Build a strong, energetic, productive, and creative team
• Lead the development of new concepts to support brand elevation + the evolution of our business.

• Strong fashion and styling sense with the ability to incorporate new fashion trends into projects
• Strong Knowledge of marketplace trends

• Prior experience working for a global company with a strong brand and distinct culture
• An ability to form productive cross-functional relationships, showing respect for what the team has accomplished while bringing break-through thinking and solutions to improve the performance of the business

• Able to successfully navigate within varying degrees of ambiguity in a fast-paced environment

• Experience driving results in a highly cross-functional organization a must
• Mastery of InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and AutoCAD a plus
• Experience working with planogram software to deliver planograms to stores on a regular basis a must
• Bachelor's Degree
• 10+ years of retail experience, preferably focused on visual merchandising
