The Global Services department is focused on ensuring that Benefit builds its global leadership in brows & services, establishing itself as the “Go-To-Brand” in Services, notably Brow Services, in all key markets. This role reports to the Brand Manager of Global Services and works closely with the SVP of Global Services to achieve the division’s goals and objectives. Provides day-to-day operational support to the Global Services Department. Must be a fast track problem solver, take ownership of each request and project undertaken and ensure timely completion.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• PROGRAM/PROJECT MANAGEMENT & MEDIA PRODUCTION -
• Assist in managing the portfolio of marketing and other projects, from initial concept through development to completion/delivery; conduct project evaluations to improve quality and experience
• Track, follow-up and monitor project status and progress using Excel
• Track project budgets and timelines to meet management expectations
• Track issues and information/communication gaps; analyze impacts of issues on projects; resolve issues and gaps through timely and effective communication
• Produce and update programs/projects involving a range of media and materials (print, video, photography, etc.)
• Coordinate development and organize international Brow Bar collateral, Salon Supplies, instructional tools, etc.
• Plan and coordinate meetings and events as needed
• Be a part of negotiations as it pertains to Global Services projects
• Manage special projects as assigned
• COMMUNICATION/INFORMATION FLOW -
• Coordinate with vendors on the flow of information and materials to ensure quality, effectiveness and efficiency
• Schedule and facilitate vendor meetings and reviews as needed; document and apply feedback for best results
• Distribute materials/assets to international markets; conduct periodic materials usage reviews for improvement and new requirements
• Under direction of SVP, identify and develop methods and tools to improve communication effectiveness and consistency
TEAMWORK/RELATIONSHIP -
• Establish, develop and maintain effective relationships/partnerships with internal departments and outside vendors
• Collaborate with internal departments and/or outside vendors/contractors to design/develop/implement projects and events, such as Art, Creative Service, Education, Finance, Operations, Purchasing, Digital.
• Comply with all Benefit policies and procedures
• ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT -
• Provide administrative support to SVP, Global Services in matters pertaining to travel, T&E Expense reimbursements and calendar/agenda
• Assist with creation and updating of presentations using PowerPoint
• Assist with event/conference planning
• Assist department with production and media assets
• Assist with management of department projects
All other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
• Strong project management and organizational skills with an ability to multi-task and prioritize
• Minimum of 2 years of similar experience supporting a brand or marketing department
• Ideally familiarity with cosmetic/salon industry concepts, practices and procedures
• Excellent verbal and written communication with internal and external partners
• Ability to manage projects to budgets and timelines
• Demonstrated skills in successfully building partnerships to influence and drive results.
• Proven ability to react quickly and respond to issues with a sense of organization, detail and urgency
• Creative, flexible and able to quickly adapt to changing priorities and direction
• Strong proficiency with MS Office suite, including MS Outlook, MS Project, MS PowerPoint, MS Word, MS Excel, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator
• Passion for beauty-& fashion-related categories preferred
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
