Description
As an Analytics intern in Supply Chain, you will gain insights from data and present recommendations to senior leaders. You will lead cross-functional projects and implement capabilities such as data visualization, predictive analytics, and exception-based analysis.
You will support a cross-functional team of analytics professionals in:
• Identifying, scoping, and executing high-impact analytics projects across the Europe Supply Chain organization;
• Developing and communicating actionable insights through problem definition and the application of advanced data modeling techniques;
• Playing a pivotal role throughout the organization through making recommendations for the business and improving the data driven decision making.
Qualifications
• 3rd/4th year student within Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, Operations Research, or any other related fields;
• Fluency in English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills;
• Advanced technical and analytical skills (R Programing or similar) and excellent skills in Excel;
• Proven ability to sift through data, identify critical information, develop hypotheses, perform rigorous analyses, and make intuitive recommendations;
• Attention to detail, excellent customer service, and ability to manage priorities;
• Academic, volunteering or previous internship experiences related to Analytics are a plus (please include in your CV);
• Passion for the Nike brand and sports in general.
In order to be eligible for an internship, you must:
• Be a student for the whole duration of the internship (enrolled in a university/higher education institution);
• Have an EU passport or an EU work permit.
Start date: February 1st, 2018
Duration: 6 - 12 months
This internship is open to students outside of the Netherlands.
