Meet Eva
Eva is a Public Relations and Social Media Coordinator in our Marketing Department. She is responsible for supporting and coordinating all PR and social media programming for HomeSense and Tri-Brand to support overall marketing initiatives.

Now, if you were to come on board as one of our Public Relations and Social Media Coordinators we’d ask you to do the following:
• Supports creative development and execution of all media relations programming, including media materials (photoshoots/lookbooks), media pitching, media events and seasonal previews
• Assists with coordinating national editorial product placement program for brand; acts as media relations contact, responsible for responding to editorial, time-sensitive sample requests; and maintaining up to date national media contact database
• Responsible for PR and social on-going monitoring and reporting including: Cision coverage, PR dashboards, and monthly metrics to ensure accurate brand metrics
• Work with Studio Coordinator on media showroom activities including sourcing samples to fulfil PR and Social Media marketing, media and influencer requests; liaising with merchant partners and external agency to verify sample pricing for lookbooks, review editorial fact checks and coordinate content for online media resource website (onlineshowroom.ca)
• Provide onsite event support and live social media posting from PR, social and brand events and shoots as required
• Assist with coordinating and scheduling media and dignitary relations for all store grand openings
• Liaise with marketing peers to create and send out Weekly Home Runs communications to internal stakeholders
• Support creation and scheduling of monthly social content calendar, including image sourcing and resizing, post scheduling, and copywriting
• Sourcing brand and user-generated images and creating contact sheets for social, PR and brand content
• Coordinate online showroom production including writing product descriptions, tags, price confirmations, and packaging assets for agency partners
• Act as initial point of contact for influencer and media inquiries, including information gathering and directing inquiry to appropriate team
• General administration support such as gift card orders, data entry, and social media contest fulfillment
Assist and/or participate on annual and special projects as required

• Post-Secondary education in Marketing or Communications / Journalism preferred; knowledge of traditional marketing strategies
• 1 to 3 years of related experience in social media and/or Public Relations experience (agency or corporate) and marketing environment with passion for retail marketing
• Strong understanding of, and passion for design and home décor
• Demonstrated understanding of the Canadian marketplace and Canadian online behavior, including regional segments (Quebec, East, West)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills ability to read, write, communicate and interpret information accurately; exceptional online copywriting skills with experience in writing for online communities; experience with social strategy an asset; bilingualism an asset
• Excellent organizational skills with ability to implement and manage details, prioritize, time manage and multi-task with limited supervision and sometimes under time pressure
• Problem solving skills, including gathering and analyzing information
• Strong interpersonal skills including developing and building relationships with internal and external partners / team members
• Advanced knowledge with Hootsuite, Stackla, Facebook Business Manager, Instagram, Snapchat and Twitter Ads is an asset and solid understanding of social media platforms
• Good knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet computer applications (Excel/Microsoft Word skills required)
