Manager of Marketing- Sierra Trading Post
Responsible development and implementation of a multi-channel brand marketing strategy that drives long-term brand growth, including development of a distinct brand platform that informs annual and seasonal marketing plan
Major Areas of Responsibility
Strategy Development
• Partner across Corporate Marketing to develop a multi-channel Marketing plans for the STP brand to deliver an integrated customer experience
• Act as key liaison across the Creative, Corporate Digital Marketing, Corporate Media and Digital Experience teams to support the development of integrated marketing strategies and plans in accordance with brand objectives and overall business goals
• Develop a distinct brand platform that informs annual and seasonal marketing plans, resulting advertising, customer relationship marketing, public relations and event marketing
• Collaborate with Merchandising, Planning, and Store Operations to develop unique strategies for supporting in-store merchandise
• Collaborate with Corporate Digital Marketing, Corporate Media and Digital Experience teams to support the development of channel campaign strategies and advertising content calendars that align with annual / seasonal marketing goals
• Collaborate with Insights & Analytics to identify key customer segments to inform and uphold unique positioning in the marketplace
Brand Management
• Manage a team of marketers to execute STP’s integrated marketing strategy and campaign plans across digital, site, and in store tactics
• Manage the overall content calendar across all consumer touchpoints
• Oversee and collaborate with marketing agencies to develop integrated brand positioning and messaging across all channels - focusing on digital
Financials & Budget
• Actively manage the comprehensive STP Brand Marketing budget, including allocation of agency resources
• Collaborate with Digital Marketing and Media to review marketing effectiveness measures / campaign results and identify optimization recommendations based on analysis
People Management
• Oversee staff and develop them for future growth, coach staff on performance and professional development, and conduct performance appraisals, interviews, and discipline / documentation
Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree
• 8-10 years of relevant experience
