Summary:
The Content Producer for GLAMGLOW will manage the creation, production, and deployment of video assets across consumer engagement, education, and digital/social media, from concept to execution, as well as provide support for any non-video creative production needs. This position reports to the Executive Director, Consumer Engagement, with a dotted reporting line to Creative.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Work closely under the direction of the Executive Director, Consumer Engagement to create video assets that embody brand DNA & visual aesthetic, and social media best practices
• Participate in concepting original and topical beauty/lifestyle content, including sourcing relevant agency and executional partners (e.g., directors, editors, animators)
• Manage all aspects from pre- through post-production, including script writing, casting, shooting, editing, sound mixing, color correction, etc, and delivery of assets.
• Manage all digital marketing and education video shoots inclusive of coordinating pre-production, planning, operating all video & audio equipment, lighting set-up, etc.
• Partner with Executive Director, Consumer Engagement to create consistent video programming calendar
• Partner with Creative department on creative briefs and storyboards as needed for freelancers and agencies; brief vendors on creative and business objectives
• Possess the ability to think like a content editor—know what types of content will resonate with the GLAMGLOW audience - with an excellence in storytelling
• Create digital video assets for social media, education (field and International), and retail partners in accordance to their specific needs & best practices
• Ensure quality, consistency and adherence to brand identity and business objectives in all videos produced
• Regularly review the social & digital work of our competitors & industry leaders to constantly stay at the forefront of video trends
• Manage all timelines and budgets related to the filming and deployment of all video content across all media and platforms
• Must be team-player and work cross-functional with internal & external partners to schedule shoots.
• Manage time effectively across multiple jobs adhering to production schedules in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications:
• 5+ years of experience producing & creating video content for digital platforms at a brand or digital agency
• Strong understanding of the internet and a passionate user of digital technologies who is curious about the evolution of branded video content
• Knowledge of social media & video best practices in this space
• Proficient in video production & editing tools including Final Cut Pro, Adobe CS6 Production Suite (After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator)
• Proficiency with DSLR cameras and digital video workflow
• Demonstrated ability to execute projects on time and to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Excellent attention to detail and quality
• STRONG online portfolio that includes examples of work
• Excellent project management and organization skills: self-directed and capable of working effectively in a fast-paced environment while juggling multiple projects and adhering to tight and demanding deadlines
• Interest & knowledge of the beauty space a must.
