Description
As our Senior Director of Supply Chain Innovation, you will contribute to Nike's growth by defining and driving the strategic agenda for continuous transformation of Nike's capabilities for the NA supply chain to better serve our athletes and consumers. In our rapidly changing world you will help us raise the bar on Nike's end-to-end value chain expertise by working in close partnership with internal and external innovation leaders related to Sourcing, Manufacturing, Planning, Customer Service, Digital Operations and Logistics. You will build and lead a strong team of supply chain innovators, program managers and analysts. You will build compelling strategies using Supply Chain analytics resulting in actionable execution plans, align leadership stakeholders around a common plan and roadmap and translate strategy through to measurable business outcomes. You will bring performance management capability to the next level: drive a forward looking, actionable view of supply chain performance, drive through surface statistics to root cause and action, transform information reviews to decision venues, spur the organization to continuously meet and beat aggressive performance targets and deliver visibility to key accomplishments. You will support other strategy development and leadership activities as needed.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in business, operations, systems or a related field
• Graduate degree is preferred
• 10 years' experience in supply chain management, process improvement, re-engineering, strategy consulting, retail/consumer goods or a related field
• Supply chain visionary
• Strong background in demand/supply planning and analytics, and inventory management
• 2+ years' people management experience
• Direct and virtual team management experience
• General management consulting and/or proven entrepreneurial general management background
• Strong relationship-building skills; ability to create trust among those with diverse personal styles
• Maturity and energy to navigate complex organizational structures
• Solid presenter and group facilitator
• Proven senior executive credibility
• Strong understanding of financial concepts related to project evaluation, financial forecasting, return on investment, cash flow analysis, and cost accounting
• Global/International experience strongly preferred
• Demonstrated athletic industry interest and literacy strongly preferred
• Eagerness to learn continuously
