Summary:
The Vice President of US Marketing will be responsible in leading the strategic direction of US marketing team and continuously advancing the brand through innovative, strategic marketing programs that generate awareness while achieving marketing targets. This person will be responsible for leading the PR, Omni Channel/Ecommerce, Brand Marketing, Creative Operations, Digital Marketing teams while ensuring clear and consistent brand messages through our brand’s DNA.
Responsibilities:
• Provide overall leadership and management for the US marketing team
• Develop and execute comprehensive, long-term, DNA-driven marketing strategies consistent with business goals and priorities.
• Lead team on sales plans, growth strategies & merchandising efforts to achieve online sales targets for all Channel + US Benefit E-commerce businesses.
• Lead the overarching Omni-channel marketing strategy that delivers robust plans in support of monthly themes, new product launches, pillar products that will drive incremental retail exposure while working with retailer guidelines.
• Develop breakthrough creative brand strategies across marketing mediums from concept to execution. Primary mediums include; digital paid media, print, radio, partnerships, sampling, events & editor/influencer relations.
• Plans and oversees the design direction and production of all marketing, public relations, and advertising content, ensuring the brand vision is brought to life in a way that is relevant and compelling to our target audiences.
• Define an experience driven approach with customers to engage them in the brand across online and offline format
• Leverage a deep understanding of the customer and ensures successful translation of market research into actionable insights.
• Interpret customer research/trends and translate into actionable strategic plans that can achieve business goals.
• Create “best-in-class” marketing programs with cross-functional marketing and wholesale teams for any new product launches or key initiatives to drive core products.
• Be creative and nimble; use latest technologies/platforms where our customer is in order to quickly shift plans in real time to build growth.
• Develop and implement effective marketing initiatives to increase sales, profitability and brand awareness
• All other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
• Minimum of 10+ years of marketing experience
• Strong strategic vision and creative skills balanced by a highly analytical, hands on and detail oriented approach
• Comfortable interpreting data, deriving actionable insights and using them to inform strategic direction while also able to deliver clear and compelling creative briefs and evaluate creative assets with constructive feedback
• Proven track record in developing integrated marketing plans and optimizing marketing investment in a highly competitive market space
• Ability to recruit, develop and retain high performing talent in a collaborative and empowering work environment.
• Proactive, energetic, self-starter looking to have a significant impact on business success
• Strong executive-level communications skills
• Balanced leadership style, a high level of intellectual agility and capacity for original thoughts and the ability to set a clear vision
• Ability to identify the most critical marketing issues and opportunities and align the team to focus and drive successful execution accordingly, via both direct and cross-functional resources
• Excellent communications, presentation and organizational skills both verbal and written
• Experience managing P&L/budgets
• College degree required
