We are looking for a Director of Product Development for Bottoms and Trucker Jackets (Mens, Womens, Kids) for our Signature by Levi Strauss & Co.™ and Denizen® brands.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage a business of $300+ million & 30M units annually. Leading a team of 11 product & garment developers.
• Set/implement source/develop strategy aligned with AFP/SBP targets
• Drive COGS strategy that meets AFP targets
• Lead costing analytics negotiation and management, and oversee vendor strategy
• Ensure that the team is tracking to seasonal GTM deliverables and remove roadblocks as needed
• Build talent and drive engagement within the team
• Partner and Interact closely cross functionally: Merchandising, Design, Supply Planning, Finance, SSM and with external partners (if applicable): Vendors, Mills
Skills & Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience
• 8-10+ years the apparel industry with a focus on product development, production, global sourcing; 5+ years of managing a team
• Strategic project management
• Ability to multi-task
• Strong written & communication/interpersonal skills
• Team management
• Strong vendor relationships
• Costing analytics, negotiation skills, and vendor management
• knowledge of industry software and proficiency with MAC/Windows and computer platforms
