As one of the Analytics Managers in EMEA you will be at the heart of the digital business and will help the digital team make decisions that will drive performance, directly leading to the accomplishment of annual goals. You will support the Director of EMEA Analytics and the EMEA Digital Leadership team drive insights around business performance and potential. You'll leverage reporting tools and ad hoc analysis to pull out relevant data, provide trending reporting, and evaluate metrics to help the European teams drive their business. You'll forecast and report business key performance indicators (KPIs) to the senior leadership team and will partner with the Global CRM team to deliver analysis and insights.
This position requires a high-energy, self-motivated individual with excellent written and verbal communication and storytelling ability backed by strong technical and analytical skills. Candidates with analytics experience in an ecommerce environment preferred.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Deliver analytics-driven insights to the business operational teams. Drive the approach to solve a business problem through analysis and understand the business so you can identify opportunities as they arise.
• Partner and manage the relationship with global teams exposing them to EMEA business needs and elevating best practices in the geo.
• Own and share reports for KPIs and business drivers.
• Lead and manage a team of junior analysts. Identify talent and coaching opportunities to drive the growth of the individuals and the team.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Business, Finance, Economics, Marketing, or a related field
• Around 5 years of relevant professional experience ideally in an e-commerce environment
• Experience and proven ability managing and driving the growth of a group of knowledge-thirsty, energetic and positive analysts.
• Passion and demonstrated ability for business analysis, and crafting and telling stories based on data that have influenced and impacted a business. Experience in identifying critical information, analyzing, developing hypotheses and making recommendations.
• Strong task management capabilities to manage multiple tracks of work and requirements
• Very strong Data Science toolset skills required, especially in the languages of Big Data (Python, R, Javascript, and SQL). Familiarity with the Hadoop stack (including Spark, Hive and Impala and/or the Amazon Cloud stack (AWS tools, Redshift, Snowflake) a bonus. Ideally with experience of Business analytics/Visualization tools (ie. Tableau) and/or Web analytics tools (ie. Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics).
