Overview
Be accountable for the development of briefs, directives and assets for global PR programs, including contributing towards their ideation, managing the process, communicating across departments, and meeting deadlines. Regional programming, content development, and strategic initiatives fall under the purview of this department and will be a collaborative effort, as will Global Event planning and execution.
Responsibilities
• Have ownership of well-considered, accurate and thoughtful project briefs that encompass the strategy outlined for key initiatives as well as a thorough list of all assets needed
• Manage the process to create directives from initiating the initial concepting meetings to creating the framework of the decks and integrating the assets as they are delivered into the final asset kit for timely delivery to the markets.
• Be solution oriented, have a point of view and offer recommendations how to achieve the goals and strategies outlined by Directors and Senior management
• Track budgets and invoices related to the creation of assets and directives
• Work on the development of proposals to pitch senior management ideas for big picture strategies
• Compile competitive reports
• Have hands on involvement in the planning and execution of global events and launches
Qualifications
• Approximately 5-8 years of development experience working in public relations with or for a global luxury brand as a part of a high-performance, best-in-class team
• Have a finger on the pulse of trends, influencers, art, music, food and fashion
• Ability to think like an editor
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of competitive luxury landscape
• Events expertise with a commercial sensibility
• Ability to collaborate across functions to create 360 campaigns
• Tapped into trends in social media/ Digitally savvy – embraces social media as part of daily life
• Excellent communication/interpersonal skills
• Ability to take strategic direction and formulate ideas into decks and briefs
• Strong understanding and passion for jewelry, accessories, fashion, and media a must
• Capacity to operate under tight deadlines and shifting priorities
• Comfort with managing budgets
• Ability to navigate a big organization and manage processes inter-departmentally
• Ease with Keynote, PowerPoint, Excell, Photoshop
