Director of Visual Merchandising - NYX Cosmetics
Key Accountabilities:
• Create Merchandising Directives, work cross functionally with internal departments. This includes: Store Design, Visual, Creative, Forecasting and Marketing
Create and own Animation and Launch packages, for permanent and temporary merchandising elements
Concept new Merchandising elements to meet specific global needs
Develop and design VM guidelines for all retail partners
Manage roll out of seasonal/ holiday VM guidelines, in store graphics
Develop understanding of brand direction to ensure in-store execution is on brand
Format field team VM training guidelines and best practices for execution excellence & elevated merchandising
Experience
• Strong technical, communication and visual merchandising background
Comfortable in a high-paced environment
Highly conceptual design experience
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Results oriented and action driven. Ability to take initiative, ownership and accountability for business
Strong sense of teamwork and ability to multi-task
Strong leadership skills with ability to motivate
Ideal Candidates Should Possess:
• 5 - 7 years of Visual Merchandising experience:
Bachelor degree, preferably in Visual Design, Merchandising, Fine Arts or Interior Design
Computer Skills - Proficient in Illustrator, Photoshop, Sketch up, InDesign, Excel and Microsoft office/ PowerPoint
High level of Creativity (must be able to communicate, sketch, etc.)
Strong Presentation skills
