Digital Marketing Coordinator: Become the Newest Member of the Vans Family

As the Digital Marketing Coordinator for our North America region, you will be a key player in keeping our unique branding alive. You are a digitally minded thinker and able to thrive in an atmosphere of 24/7 digital space. You are a self-starter, love taking on various projects that add value to our business and have deep connectivity with our consumers.
Additionally, your efforts will drive direct results against the department’s digital marketing strategic goals and objectives. You will have direct impact over our digital creative and website projects as well as various marketing coordination in NORA.
How You Will Make a Difference:
• Partners closely with NORA Marketing team to ensure projects from development through launch are completed on time, seamlessly and efficiently.
• Develops and maintains project documents as needed including status documents, calendars, project recaps, etc
• Develops and enters creative briefs and tracks all digital art requests for campaign assets and seasonal requests.
• Ensures that timelines are met and milestones are completed by the creative team for all digital projects.
• Ensures final digital creative assets are passed off and effectively communicated to all relevant parties.
• Manages banner rotation schedule for Vans.com and other internal sites based on the set calendar.
• Creates all article detail pages on a weekly basis, including resizing images and copywriting.
• Ensures all article detail stories and product features appearing on the landing pages are current and relevant to the Vans consumer.
• Monitors the site regularly and verifies there are no dead links or issues found on the homepage or any of the marketing pages.
• Partners with the Action Sports Marketing teams to receive updated athlete information seasonally and ensure this information is current on all athlete pages.
• With partnership of the Digital Marketing Manager, manage department budgets and expenses and ensure costs are strategically aligned to yearly goals and objectives.
Skills for Success:
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent from four-year college or university; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 3-5 years of digital marketing experience, retail industry a plus
• Proven ability to effectively manage multiple projects and tasks, with a high level of time management and attention to detail.
• Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with Adobe Experience Manager or other web content management system
• Passionate about youth marketing, fashion, and/or action sports marketing a plus
• Knowledge of SEO and HTML is a plus
