Description
PRINCIPAL OBJECTIVE:
• Responsible for owning and managing all timelines for open-sell businesses (i.e., Ulta, Nordstrom, Sephora) for Estee Lauder, North America.
• Laisse with cross-functional partners within North America and Global to track and monitor all steps in the Creative process ensuring adherence to defined project guidelines including timetables and budget.
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
• Facilitate relationships between teams, moving process forward, finding resources, reworking schedules, raising concerns to appropriate owners early and resolving open issues that prevent progress.
• Oversee each phase of the internal and external approval process; including the development of standardized project forms.
• Manage frequent changes, delays, and unexpected events, and time-sensitive, fast-paced situations. Predict roadblocks and obstacles; establish meetings or integration points between teams to find solutions.
• Inform internal and external teams of potential budget or scheduling problems. Provide suggested solutions and options.
• Produce ongoing status reports, track progress and review project tasks to make certain deadlines are met appropriately, or take timely action to mitigate delays.
• Issue revised timetables and supplemental estimates when program changes impact dates and costs.
• Initiate directive to begin work process on all programs based upon receipt of screened and approved work requests.
• Demonstrate leadership when working in close alignment with cross-functional partners..
• Conduct regular meetings with all stakeholders, identify roadblocks, undertake continuous adjustments with stakeholders in a persuasive manner, and as needed, escalate issues and risks to Senior Management. Ensure transparency during entire process.
• Proactively establish and refine processes in an operational creative environment.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Undergraduate College degree.
• Position requires 5+ years relevant work experience in a traffic/operations environment.
• Experience partnering with Creative and Marketing teams to deliver digital and printed marketing materials.
• Ability to manage individual and multiple projects from conception to completion, must be flexible and able to re-access priorities as needs shift.
• Position requires leadership skills and project management skills. Must be capable of handling numerous projects in fast-paced, high-pressure environment ensuring deliverables are achieved on time while maintaining the highest quality.
• Ability to build strong relationships both internally and with outside vendors.
• Knowledge of the functions of marketing, creative, operations, and trafficking within a cosmetics or other
related industry.
• Beauty/retail experience is a plus.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, excellent presentation skills, ability to personally organize and set priorities and to influence others.
• Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications. Knowledge in Adobe Creative Suites is a plus.
