We are now looking for a talented Production Finance Coordinator to join the MR PORTER Creative Production team.
Responsibilities:
• Processing high volume of complex invoices within agreed timeframes onto
• Dealing with queries from the business as well as suppliers
• Assist with reporting, including shoot reports and working with team to amend any discrepancies
• Work with suppliers and Account Manager to ensure PO’s are raised for all orders
• Ad Hoc reports and duties
• Part of a very busy and fast paced Creative Production team.
• Build and maintain strong relationships between Creative Production and Accounts
• Liaise with and set up new suppliers
• Support prompt advance and invoice payments
• Deal with late payment issues and managing relationships
• Flexibility to take on last minute production payment requests and work to tight deadlines
• Check, code and enter requisitions into ipos
• Support team with month end petty cash and credit card reconciliation
• General accounting admin support for the Creative Production team
Essential Skills & Requirements:
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to build good relationships, with both internal and external contacts
• Ability to work as part of a team and on one’s own initiative
• Excellent attention to detail ensuring data accuracy
• Proven ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines and changing demands
• Ability to prioritise workload, good organisational skills and a flexible approach
• The ideal candidate will demonstrate a high degree of pro-activity and resourcefulness and maintain a professional approach to all elements of the role
• You must be able to approach all problems and issues with a positive ‘can do’ attitude plus be confident in liaising with all departments at varied levels
• A great trouble-shooter with the ability to think clearly and calmly when faced with challenges
• Intermediate MS Excel, Word and Outlook knowledge
• Experience of using ipos or other purchase order and procurement software is advantageous
• A sense of humour and a passion for the MR PORTER customer and brand
