Corporate Digital Communications Manager
Role purpose:
YOOX NET-A-PORTER GROUP (YNAP) is looking for a Corporate Digital Communications Manager to join its growing Group Corporate Communication team. Reporting to and working closely with the Global Head of Corporate Brand and Digital Communications, the Corporate Digital Communications Manager will help shape and execute the Group digital communication strategy including the development of YNAP social and digital channels including the corporate website.
Key Responsibilities:
• Creating and implementing YNAP global digital strategy and roadmap across social media and digital channels (corporate website, internal collaboration tools, etc.)
• Being responsible for the digital roadmap inclusive of the development of Group’s digital assets as well as the delivery of specific digital projects, such as the revamp of the corporate website or the roll out of new digital assets (dedicated apps or mini-site) or new social media channels, for example country-specific social networks in coordination with local communication teams
• Responsible for the overall content strategy through existing Group’s social media (Twitter, Instagram, Youtube) and corporate website (ynap.com) establishing and ensuring the correct tone of voice and style is applied to all communications (including on-brand high-quality visual content, video and photos)
• Interpreting corporate content – from financial information, employer branding, corporate news and sustainability – declining this for the different digital channels making sure to present this in an innovative and engaging format for online audiences
• Ensuring day-to-day community management on Group’s social media
• Managing and recruiting external digital agencies and third party suppliers such web agencies, social media agencies, social listening services to ensure social media initiatives are delivered against pre-agreed objectives, budgets and KPI’s
• Working with key stakeholders in the Group as well as with the colleagues in the Internal, Partnerships Communications, Media Relations teams as well other PR and Social media teams in the Group to define the content roadmap – contributing to the Corporate communications strategy and ensuring its timely delivery
• Driving new and innovative digital communications and engagement activities, with a test/ learn mentality aiming to be "first in industry" to drive deeper connections with target audiences
• Leading the integrated planning and delivery of reach, engagement and advocacy campaigns. Overseeing the development of opinion leaders and influencers reach-out programmes in order to secure high profile endorsements for YNAP brand in social media
• Implementing and delivering regular analysis and reports/ recommendations on all of Group’s digital channels also based on insights and learning
Skills and Experience:
• Degree level education or equivalent
• Strong communication/engagement experience with a track record in delivery of digital/social in the corporate communication sphere for a complex organisation
• Excellent storytelling ability and editorial experience, better if in corporate content
• Strong understanding of web video content
• Line management experience
• Experience managing and negotiating with external partners (agents, talent, vendors)
• Well-developed research and analytic capabilities, superior problem solving and creative thinking skills
• Must have a good handle on current trending influencers and pop culture
• Experience leading and managing SEO/SEM and a knowledge of UX/UI design as well as HTML/CMS platforms
• Solid knowledge of website analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Omniture, WebTrends
• Entrepreneurial spirit, strong conceptual thinking, and a passion for bringing stories to life through engaging content and visual formats
• Work experience in an international organisation and / or work experience outside of the UK would be beneficial
• Fluency in English (required); fluency in another language would be a benefit but not a pre-requisite (specifically Italian)
• Positive and can-do attitude as well as capacity to plan and multitask is a must
• Meticulous attention to detail
• Calm under pressure and enjoys a challenge, and acts as a role model for others
• Enjoys working in a creative, fast paced environment
• Great sense of humour, empathy, creative yet pragmatic
Reports to: Global Head of Corporate Brand and Digital Communications
Location
You will be based at our Head office in Westfield, London, W12. You might need to visit our Distribution Centre in London, SE7 from time to time.
Hours
Your hours will be 37.5 hours per week working Monday to Fridays.
