We are now looking for a talented Production Coordinator to join the MR PORTER Creative Production team. Reporting to the Production Director, you manage the production of all Marketing workflow including Email, Product Marketing Campaigns, Marketing and Brand Presentations, Gift Cards and Marketing/PR collateral.
Responsibilities:
• Review project briefs and contribute to briefing meetings to ensure details are comprehensive by trouble-shooting and highlighting any issues to ensure Creative deliver the best solution
• Responsible for the smooth movement of workflow in the Marketing and Design team with respect to deadlines, quality and accuracy of their assignments
• Brief in new projects from the business and schedule necessary resources, whilst monitoring progress through delivery and provide regular status updates to stakeholders and project team to manage expectations
• Ensure production schedule requirements are met on time by following up with workflow managers i.e. Subs desk, Art department, Marketing, Press and external suppliers
• Brief and liaise with printers and repro to deliver marketing material such as direct mail, partnership and events material whilst keeping within budget
• Take ownership for managing print projects from conception to proofing and distribution
• Prepare and communicate detailed production schedules, timing plans whilst building relationships with suppliers
• Identify resourcing issues and liaise with internal teams to provide plan and support
• Manage budgets and spend on assigned projects, effectively accounting for and managing quotes, recording costs and billing of the jobs
• Support creative initiatives and projects by means of planning, research, costing and workflow management
• Contribute to production workflow processes to enhance and increase efficiency and quality of deliverables
• Manage the weekly creative deliverables for the social media channels
• Oversee the briefs for media assets and campaign assets deliverables.
Essential Skills & Requirements:
• Strong organizational and communication skills are a must as is having a fantastic eye for detail and accuracy
• The ideal candidate will have knowledge of pre-press and print-related procedures and previous experience within a trafficker/coordinator role
• Experience from an online background is desirable, and /or a creative environment working with web/print designers
• The candidate should have experience of working as part of a team, able to establish good relationships with colleagues on different levels, having good judgment, a sense of initiative and a professional working manner
• The ideal candidate will demonstrate a high degree of pro-activity and resourcefulness and maintain a professional approach to all elements of the role.
• You must be able to approach all problems and issues with a positive ‘can do’ attitude plus be confident with maintaining current relationships with clients whilst always looking to develop new ones.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to multi-task
• Degree of flexibility in their method and also working hours
• A great trouble-shooter with ability to think clearly and calmly when faced with challenges and a natural logical thinker
• Ability to cope well with the demands of a rapidly growing company
• Excellent work, client and customer care ethos
• Proficient in PowerPoint, MS Word and Excel
• A sense of humour and a passion for the MR PORTER customer and brand
Location: London, W12
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
