JOB PURPOSE
Reporting into the Senior Graphic Designer, this role will require a close working relationship with the Creative Media Department’s Brand team. Creating technical artworks and guidelines for global advertising campaigns and top-end printed collateral, the successful candidate with become a recognised technical authority on print and digital collateral for Creative Media. Being part of the brand team will also be a valuable experience to understand and contribute to the wider projects undertaken by a multidisciplinary department. Alternative projects across Brand include bespoke packaging briefs, event and experience design and an assortment of collaborations with the wider fashion and marketing departments.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Liasing directly with graphic designers and art directors.
• Making informed technical recommendations to designers and art directors.
• Working as part of the Brand team with research and development of creative briefs.
• Creating extensive guideline documents for advertising campaigns and wider projects.
• Being involved in the communication of guideline documents to third party agencies.
• Liasing with print management companies and printers.
• Passing print jobs on press.
• Areas of relevance: print advertising; internal/external documents; brand guidelines; formatting and editing of content for in-store; invitations; brochures; packaging.
PERSONAL PROFILE
• Strong eye for detail, perfectionist attitude.
• Dedication and ability to work under pressure and not phased by tight deadlines.
• Extensive knowledge of all Adobe Creative Suite software. Including Photoshop, Indesign, Illustrator.
• Extensive understanding and experience of print process and digital campaign requirements.
• A developed understanding of colour processes.
• Consideration for others and willingness to grow within team.
• Problem solving mentality.
• Communication and teamwork will be of huge importance for this role.
