Setting priorities while collaborating across a global business.Check out this role at Clarks Americas, In this role you will; manage leading technical team to commercialize the product, maintaining efficient working practices, ensuring that brand standards for product quality and fitting are consistently kept into production processes, and that timelines are managed effectively to enable reliable and efficient customer service.
Essential Knowledge:
• BA/BS in Supply Chain, Sourcing, QA, with knowledge of footwear commercialization process preferred
• Shoe material and shoe construction test procedures and test standards
• Shoe fitting assessment procedures, and technical knowledge
• Shoe Manufacturing machinery and shoe processing techniques
• Commercial background - understanding financial implications of decisions
Technical Skills:
• Ability to compile clear and concise reports from a wide range of information sources, using this information to strategically drive continuous improvement activity
• Problem solving and root cause analysis
• Workload planning and time management
• Ability to handle all phases of the commercialization engineer
Successful Experience:
• 10+ years of factory based shoe production experience covering a wide range of product types and production methods
• Leading a team of people with an emphasis on maintaining and improving the high level of technical capability within the team and on time delivery
• Managing a complex range of projects to tight deadlines
• Proven ability to balance costs and demonstrate sound commercial judgement
