In this newly created role within the North America subsidiary, the Digital Marketing Manager will be responsible for creating and executing the digital marketing strategy for the US Ecommerce business. The role demands an entrepreneurial spirit and a desire to work in a fast-paced growing company within a multicultural environment. You will be reporting to the Director of Ecommerce & Outlet and will work closely with your counterparts at our Paris Headquarters.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Develop and execute a comprehensive digital marketing strategy focused on both customer acquisition and customer retention. Optimize and grow Email, SEM, Programmatic Display and Paid Social channels. Initiate and grow the Affiliate channel
• Own end-to-end campaign planning and execution for all digital channels to maximize ROI and successfully implement the retail calendar
• Manage the digital marketing budget, define objectives and KPIs for each channel, execute the strategy to achieve goals and ensure we achieve ROI and CPA targets that acquire customers at an acceptable cost while maximizing revenue
• Create and execute the US email marketing calendar with support from the Director of Ecommerce and the Paris Email team. Create copy, creative briefs and coordinate asset design with Paris creative team
• Develop an email strategy to increase Open Rates, CTRs and Revenue generated per email, including improving customer segmenting and
• targeting. Identify ways to grow the database size and manage the abandoned cart email program
• Serve as the day-to-day contact to the digital agencies. Work with the Paris creative team to deliver required campaign assets. Challenge agency teams on their optimization strategies and ensure we are achieving the expected ROIs. A/B test across our digital channels to identify winning strategies to be used in future campaigns
• Identify new acquisition channels, new potential partners and follow trends in Digital marketing to ensure we are having the highest impact to the online growth
• Maintain monthly digital metrics reports to evaluate spend, traffic, revenue, CPA and ROI by channel. Use an analytical approach to review results and forecast future performance and change spend plan as needed. Present findings to Director of Ecommerce and President on a regular basis
• Work closely with the Communications and Marketing Manager to ensure consistency with the offline Marketing and Communication strategy with a 360° approach to exploit all digital touchpoints
• Monitor The Kooples online presence on US websites and Department Stores ensuring coherence and respect of brand and web marketing agreements.
Profile
• 4-6 years of Digital Marketing experience with direct experience managing day-to-day execution of digital campaigns. Has a proven track record of driving ROI and sales
• Experience in both digital acquisition and retention marketing. Knowledge and optimization experience with all digital marketing channels (SEM, Email, Social, Display, Affiliate, etc…)
• Have the desire and ability create the strategy and the day-to-day execution
• Experience with digital marketing A/B testing and customer experience initiatives that drive acquisition and/or conversion
• Prior management of digital agencies with successful implementation of the digital strategy
• Highly analytical with a creative side who can ensure The Kooples brand identity is maintained and brought to life across our digital channels
• Ability to craft performance marketing messaging and copy that maintains the brand identity
• Strong understanding of digital marketing KPIs (CPC, CTR, CPA, ROI, etc…) and how they impact the business with experience optimizing the KPIs to drive results
• Possess a desire to constantly expand one’s knowledge base in digital and paid marketing
• Prior experience with Google Analytics (or similar analytical tool), Google Adwords and company chosen Email Service Provider. Experience with Photoshop a plus.
• Excellent interpersonal skills supporting a multicultural team environment (appreciation of French culture a plus)
• Can conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines while using analytical and problem solving capabilities
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment
