Manager, Wholesale Marketing - Tommy Hilfiger
The Manager, Wholesale Marketing manages all marketing and advertising initiatives for the Wholesale business. This position collaborates with in-house business leads, licensing, creative, public relations, digital/social media, visual merchandising, store planning, and event teams on the execution of all wholesale-related initiatives.
Responsibilities:
• Create and execute comprehensive strategic and tactical marketing plans for the wholesale business, including advertising programs, co-op advertising, direct-to-consumer, in-store promotional programs, social media, and events
• Partner with the marketing departments of wholesale partners to build the Tommy Hilfiger brand and drive sales in stores and online
• Oversee and manage coop marketing program(s). Log and process invoices, while assisting Wholesale Marketing Director in monitoring overall budgets. Manage approval process for coop ads, both internally and with wholesale partners. Ensure creative execution of marketing materials follows brand guidelines
• Partner with creative team to conceptualize and develop marketing materials, including, in-store signage, catalog, sell sheets, and digital/social assets
• Plan and execute seasonal POS programs for all product divisions (e.g., men’s and women’s sportswear, handbags, kids, underwear, footwear, licensed categories, etc.)
• Partner with Advertising and Studio on seasonal photoshoots and campaigns. Collaborate with wholesale business to determine shot lists. Coordinate product samples and obtain approvals of looks. Attend and oversee shoots on behalf of wholesale businesses
• Serve as primary liaison and project manager for wholesale licensee marketing projects
• Responsible to help develop and manage Wholesale Marketing budget – US and Canada, as well as various licensed partners
• Role is expected to lead all Wholesale Marketing day-to-day projects (collateral/point-of-sale materials, PKG, .com imagery, etc.) and be the point person (TH Americas) for all integrated and specialized campaigns
Qualifications:
• College degree required; Marketing or related major, a plus
• 5-7 years of retail & brand marketing/advertising experience. Agency background a plus
• Ability to think strategically, apply analytics and implement tactically
• Flexibility to adapt to changing business needs
• Ability to see effects of decision prior to implementing
• Proactive approach
• Ability to anticipate future actions that may be required
• Ability to Multi-task
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
• Strong project management/time management skills
• PC Skills, including MS Office, and MS Outlook
• Ability to handle multiple tasks/projects with adherence to deadlines. Detail oriented/innovative traits are necessary
• Flexibility required to respond to changing needs of the business with adherence to deadlines
• Ability to travel, if needed
• Ability to think strategically and implement tactically
