GENERAL FUNCTION
The eCommerce Administrator partners with eCommerce leadership and the eCommerce Copywriter to develop digital content for Luxottica’s Optical retail brands. The eCommerce Administrator knows the market and maps marketing content in an effort to design compelling digital messaging targeted for each target market/segment in the Optical sector.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provides strategic content recommendations designed to increase the effectiveness of digital marketing campaigns/messaging for Optical brands.
• Works closely with copywriter (and SEO specialist) in order to create effective and optimized content for digital channels (website, EDM, social).
• Collaborates with stakeholders including eCommerce, Brand Management, Optical COE, global partners, and others.
• Proactively researches optical industry trends, and applies that knowledge when designing compelling digital marketing content.
• Creates, updates, and maintains project plans, prepares status reports to keep leadership informed.
• Researches current marketing trends and news in the optical industry/field, with particular focus on digital.
• Analyzes data to provide insights and identifies keyword and search trends related to the optical business.
• Conducts competitor analysis.
• Translates analysis insights into actionable recommendations and content strategies.
• Builds the content calendar for digital channels in alignment with the brand and marketing teams.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related
• 1+ years of experience working in the optical industry
• 3+ years of experience
• Experience of direct & digital marketing
• Knowledge of the digital ecosystem and how eCommerce, web, mobile, social, search and channels work together to optimize behavior and acquisition
• Self-motivate and takes initiative to research and solve problems independently
• Strong experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point, etc.)
• Ability to organize multiple projects and establish priorities
• Strong communication skills both verbal and written, with ability to influence and negotiate
• Knowledge of online marketing tactics (SEO, SEM, Email)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Retail industry experience
• Knowledge of Google Analytics or similar tools
