Description
We have a great opportunity for a Regional Producer to join our team in London. Duties and responsibilities are as follows:
Project management
• Scope, manage and coordinate ecommerce development and enhancement projects
• Manage top level reporting on a weekly, Monthly and Quarterly basis of all active projects
• Develop and deliver to project delivery processes and standards. Identify gaps and develop improvements which reduce risk and enhance efficiency
• Work with stakeholders and subject matter experts to produce project briefs and specifications
• Track risks & opportunities and provide both an effective point of escalation, and onward escalation
• Challenge and contribute towards improved or more efficient ways of working.
• Perform hands-on project management. Leading projects from ideation, to scoping, to planning and execution
• Build and maintain detailed project schedules
• Manage and triage bugs
• Provide business intelligence reports to senior management team
• Resource capacity forecasting
• Run project RAIDs
• Track and report on resourcing and budget spend. Manage resource plans and budgets. Report on forecasts and actuals. Manage/mitigate variances.
• Help introduce project management tools and process.
Team Management
• Direct and matrix management of a project team of developers, testers and business stakeholders
• Manage and provide reporting on time spent across project and production tasks
• Ensure holiday bookings within the team are aligned with project plans. Work with line managers to ensure appropriate planning and visability
• Manage resourcing within the producer team
• Delegate effectively to manage workload and prioritisation
• Roadmap own and team capabilities / training and perform skills gap analysis
Pipeline planning
• Maintain an understanding of the business strategy and performance. Remain informed of Online sales, marketing best practices, analytics, and consumer insights
• Work with the region’s UK production team, online brand managers and global online roles to help define pipe line plans
• Stay informed of industry best practices for e-commerce, mobile and digital branding.
• Help communicate the pipeline and ensure project schedule changes are managed through change management process to all stakeholders and teams
• Ensure business outcomes are defined and agreed before the start of delivery.
• Estimate resource and capability needed to deliver projects. Help Iterate the pipe line plan by working with management to determine and match to capability. E.g working with resource managers, suppliers, and technical leads in UK and globally.
Facilitation
• Run regular project meetings. Ensure clear best practise in all meetings, with stated objectives, agenda’s. Ensure minutes are always taken listing key decisions made. Ensure room bookings are made / conference details are arranged.
• Understand key issues and perspectives to deliver viable options when challenged by barriers
• Understand business objectives and priorities to correctly deploy resources
• Leverage experience in logistics process to guide enhancement projects. An experience with SAP is considered a distinct advantage.
Leadership
• Work with the Online Production and Development leadership team to provide input to department change agenda and mitigations to department issues and risks. For own domain across other domains
• Drive a high performing , innovative , transparent, flexible team and culture
• Leverage suppliers and partners to broaden the capability
Qualifications
• Extensive project / programme management experience working in direct and matrix environment where you managed a project team of developers, testers. Designers and business stakeholders
• Extensive experience of scoping ecommerce projects with integration to payment, fulfilment and merchandising systems
• Experience of documenting as is and go to processes
• Experience of managing onshore and offshore delivery
• Has managed resource plans and budgets.
• Prince 2 qualifications an advantage
• Experience in Agile, Lean and other software project management methods
◦ Easily capable of determining the right methodology for any given project
• Previous roles in an IT/E-com Consultancy or Software Engineering capacity
• Experience of resource modelling and/or projections
• Experience of risk analysis/mitigation strategies
• Appreciation of business strategy and the ability to drive departmental change to support the business strategy
• Strong team management and communication skills
• Strong commercial awareness and Client facing service skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and people skills, both inside and outside of their company
• ‘Can do’ attitude to any situation with the ability to adapt and still maintain control and high level of client service skills
