Visual Merchandising Executive, Estee Lauder, Travel Retail APAC
Description
Reporting to the Estee Lauder VM Manager, the position will be required to review, support & design VM priorities, workflow & management of the EL brand. Has clear planning to the execution of VMCG, VM planogram for Bars & Backwalls, Lightbox, Promotions/HPP/SPP & IMD/IMW/PDC ordering.
Plan & review the EL standards & launch guidelines for all TR APAC locations. Work with VM Manager to deliver the work across an FY to meet business objectives. Enables in a new store planning to help multifunctional team to understand the site/shopper differences that can better drive productivity for the EL brand.
• To continually support & drive quality for the Estee Lauder brand VM & equity for TR APAC.
• To ensure quality reviews & guidelines to deliver on VM design work.
• To leverage & partner with VM team network across for other brands.
1. VM Collateral Guidelines (VMCG) for launches.
a. Establish Regional Display guidelines for SK/MU every 1~2 months/seasonal.
b. Review Global launch with marketing & adapt for APAC TR.
c. Develop & simplify guidelines to deliver on existing & older gen design counters.
d. Develop & provide VM collateral guideline allocation for every New Door.
e. Order & drive delivery of new collaterals for every New Door.
2.VM Planograms – SK/MU/FR/CFM Bar, Gondola and Backwall for Store Renewal.
a. Execute excellence and accurate Counter guideline for opening.
b. Drive Reviews & updates for Regional approval usage with VM Manager.
c. Design & develop award/test marketing new ideas for counters with VM Manager.
d. Develop Regional gondola top display for launches.
e. Ensure on time deliverables of VM collaterals to counter.
3.Lightbox planning, vetting & supplier implementation across, for launches.
a. Acquire from NY & review lightbox guidelines.
b. Work with vendor to crop, dimension & review for installation.
c. Identify from marketing launch priority planning via SCM twice a year the key launches.
d. Liase with TR & Affiliate Marketing to review lightbox priority accuracy.
e. Lead color proofing to finalise quality output; with supplier.
f. Review & approve translations/lockups for lightboxes for all locations.
g. Ensure implementation is completed with Field Merchandisers on the right color quality.
4.TR Promotions/HPP/SPP for various standard sites across.
a. Develop/Plan fixtures to meet Launch focus and meet requirements from retailer.
b. Plan and arrange on time deliverables of drawing for retailer approval.
c. Co-ordinate on time launch with vendors, ensuring all VM items are ordered and Sales counterpart are well informed.
5.IMD/IMW/PDC Ordering for new launches & counter installations.
a. Review offerings being sent out via IMD/IMW/PDC.
b. Establish requirements through forecasting & orders with marketing/sales team.
c. New GPS/ACS re-orders & planning for TR APAC.
d. Track status of orders & ensure timely delivery to installations of new doors.
e. Provide estimates costs of VM display for renewal/new stores budgeting.
Role Requirements:
• Has strong partnering & self starter to drive clarity on project status.
• Has an eye for design details & production issues.
• Leverages interpersonal & communication skills to interact with multifunctional team members.
• Has excellent organizational skills & ability to work independently on gathering information.
Qualifications
• BA in Design related fields or Visual Merchandising preferred.
• 2~5 years of retail merchandising or related field experience preferred.
• Ability to travel up to 15% of the time.
• Excellent written, oral, and presentation skills.
• Strong organization, follow up and prioritization skills.
• Experience working in fast-paced organization, able to communicate & multi-task with different external & internal departments to execute the completion of projects.
• Keen interest & passion for the beauty industry business & lifestyle products.
• Knowledge of computer programs including, Adobe Suite, Microsoft office
• Knowledge of CAD or Vectorworks will be an advantage but not necessary.
• Good command of both written & spoken English is necessary or other languages is preferred.
