What you’ll be doing…
• Be the point of contact for all facilities requests and requirements through the facilities inbox and in person
• Provide first response/fix to meeting rooms and equipment/technology working closely with the IT department
• Complete Facilities/H&S Floor Walks along with regular outlined safety and compliance checks
• Escalate H&S concerns to the Facilities Manager and relevant contractors
• Assist in set up of events, meeting rooms and office areas, including furniture builds & moves
• Work closely with HR to ensure all starter/leaver processes are met
• Be the first point of contact at all times for new clients to the business, meeting and greeting customers and providing in room assistance as necessary
• Support contractor’s onsite when they require assistance during repairs, or maintenance duties
• Identify and report the need for major repairs to onsite contractor
• Ensure awareness and compliance of First Aid processes and requirements, keeping First Aid kits stocked with agreed inventory
• Ensure awareness of all Fire Evacuation exits, processes, procedures, and keep areas clear at all times
• Carry out DSE assessments ensuring all additional requests are processed and delivered, keeping an up to date asset list of all equipment issued
• Ensure compliance with all Quality, Health, Safety and Environment aspects and report deficiencies in systems of work or equipment provided that may result in failure of service delivery or risks
• Capture, process and record all data and jobs generated for MI reporting
We’d love to meet someone with…
• Previous experience in a high profile customer service environment
• Previous experience in working in Facilities Management, floor management and/or facilities helpdesk
• Computer literate with an understanding of Microsoft Office software
• Good verbal and written English
• A friendly, outgoing, helpful and confident personality, with excellent organisational and administrative skills
• A willingness to adapt and change with the company requirements and procedures, and a desire to continually improve the services and facilities on offer
• Dedicated and positive attitude, ability to lead a team, and flexibility within the team to support colleagues
• Confidence in communicating with stakeholders and ASOS staff at all levels within the business
• Must have the ability to work on their own initiative, proactive in decision making
• Familiar with QHSE procedures and legislation
