Sr Manager – Merchandising Operations + Strategy
P2M Calendar Management + Communication
• Partner with Product Ops – P2M leader on maintenance of P2M calendar.
• Proactively manage Merchandising calendar deliverables in partnership with Director/Sr Director.
• Partners to develop a global communication mechanism and manages the updates and dissemination on a weekly basis
• Helps to answer questions and resolve tensions with Director/Director as they arise
Tool and Process Development
• For existing tools, identify ways to streamline or make more effective as the organization transforms and transitions.
• For new tool needs, identify cross functional partners, develop POV/Strawman, vet, and help to project manage tool development, which may not or may not be owned by Merchandising.
• Work with Merchandising leadership to define or reconfirm expectations for milestones, especially during continued Transition period.
• In partnership with Director help drive process working sessions, document learnings, and create new or updated process maps.
• Drives project plan for initiatives, identifies key partners across the organization and build strong cross team partnerships to drive efficiencies and simplify analysis across the global organization
• Partners with those in Merchandising who will digest information to build requirements for systems/tools in partnership with cross functional leaders as needed
Transformation Support (OIE / Transformation Workstreams)
• Manage calendar of the Merchandising touchpoints and activities required for system and tool changes as part of Transformation and workstreams.
• Develop, in partnership with PLM and PETE teams, any training or process documentation required to make the system changes within the Merchandising team
• Manage changes and updates within the tool roadmap for PETE / Transformation, partner with Director where tensions arise across tool work
• Demonstrated ability to think globally/strategically, turn information into effective processes and drive results

• Ability to be objective in analysis
• Ability to influence across the organization at senior levels and to become a proactive, trusted advisor and thought leader on strategic issues to drive results
• Demonstrated initiative and ability to work independently
• Strong oral, written and formal presentation skills including ability to communicate complex ideas in a simple way
• Strong ability to tailor key messages and presentation style to multiple audiences as appropriate
• Strong interpersonal skills: work well as part of a cross-functional team and able to interact at all levels
• Conflict Management: Approaches conflicts as opportunities; understands others quickly; can find common ground without comprising total position
• Proven experience in managing teams including providing direction, understanding resource capabilities and successfully driving results, working with internal or external resources
• Strong project management skills and ability to effectively juggle multiple projects at one time
• Able to work in and bring structure to ambiguous environments
• 4-6 years of work experience, preferably within merchandising and/or project management
• Track record influencing change within large, complex multi-national companies
• Strong interest in / knowledge of retail industry
• International work experience a plus
