This team is responsible, specifically, for the development and management of ASOS’ onsite content experiences, the creative brilliance behind our world-class shopping content and the execution of our in-App content.
The role:
Based in London, and reporting to Onsite Content Lead, this new role will key to coordinating and evolving ASOS’ world-class international content proposition.
The International Content Manager will oversee the day-to-day functional management of the international editorial and content teams, both on- and off-site. This will include, but not exclusively, ensuring the smooth running and delivery of all international content requirements; help manage the expectations of the international editors, concerning local, bespoke requirements; and act as the bridge between the central strategic hub and the local/global content teams.
You will also be expected to inform the efficacy of local briefs, where appropriate, by identifying efficiencies and opportunities, suggesting solutions and fresh approaches to challenges and by helping to manage those outcomes.
On a people/personnel level, you will act as a sounding board for any concerns or unique requests from the international editors and feed those back into the lead editor to enable suitable actions and resolution.
What you'll be doing...
• Coordinate the management and delivery of local territory briefs.
• Support in the optimisation and business efficiencies of local territory briefs.
• Keep all global markets informed on brief changes and department developments.
• Manage workflow of all London-based International Content Editors.
• Act as a sounding board for all local territory editors to share their brief ideas, challenge concepts and optimise brief submissions.
• Act as a liaison between Leads and all International Content Editors to ensure they are informed and up to date and their bespoke needs are addressed.
• Manage relationships between International Editors and the Commercial/Partnerships team.
• Manage relationships between International Editors and the Fashion Team to ensure styling choices are flagged to all editors before shoot production, and image selects are made with local territory needs in mind.
• Support all editors in adhering to deadlines, and ensuring they have the tools required in meeting these deadlines.
• Budget management for International travel and bespoke content shoots.
• Regular travel to relevant international offices to maintain relationships.

• Exceptional inter-personal skills
• Exceptional organisational, administrative and communication skills are key to this role, as is the ability to work to tight deadlines.
• Experience motivating and managing a team with a wide range of personalities.
• An understanding of performance, measurement and optimisation of content.
• A good understanding of the Social landscape.
• Some knowledge of the factors that contribute to making a successful online fashion destination are desirable
• Willingness to travel is key.
