Manager, Digital Content Reebok Classics
Purpose:
The role of Digital Content Manager - Classics is to identify, brief, and oversee the development and activation of all digital content needs relating to reebok.com for Reebok Classics engagement and commercial conversion. This position has US focus and a critical support role for all remaining ecommerce markets. The output of this role should align with Reebok Brand/Classics BU expectations, the seasonal merchandising and marketing strategy, and reebok.com sales targets. Works with the senior category merchandising manager to drive initiatives with the goal of creating a premium shopping experience across channels that reflects the brand message and drives conversion.
Key Accountabilities:
• Responsible for defining and briefing a global content and activation execution strategy that aligns with DTC and Classics BU expectations
• Manage and maintain a calendar of key seasonal and product-level stories, driving the communication timing and cadence with the DTC consumer.
• Own the online merchandising calendar for Classics category pages, landing pages, and special promotions based on insights driven from various data sources
• Partner with Merchandising, Marketing and CRM teams to position key stories and products, and ensure successful launches of products that present a unique selling proposition.
• Drive and influence Digital Marketing to support category directives and strategies. Collaborates with cross-functional counterparts to maintain Brand integrity.
• Drive and influence User Experience and Global Asset team to deliver best in class product imagery, assets, and UX design strategies for your category
• Surveys other web sites, comparing product assets and merchandising functionality to our site. Understands the competitive landscape and identifies and is educated about relevant online merchandising trends and innovations
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
• Demonstrated ability to influence peers and champion the creation of a best in class branded commerce experience.
• Strong analytical skills - must be able to use data to influence. Assemble and interpret data, create executive summaries and deliver business insights..
• Strong computer skills, including intermediate capability with Microsoft office applications. Microsoft Access skills preferred.
• High degree of internet savvy, with a curiosity and enthusiasm for digital and media trends.
• Excellent problem solving skills – able to identify, analyze and propose solutions to technical and business issues.
• Good design aesthetic and a strong ability to judge visual appearance.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, “self-starter” environment and manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
• The ability to use and understand financial and numerical data to make decisions.
• Ability to balance the art and science of brand presentation.
• Ability to develop and lead a team to achieve targeted KPIs.
Minimum Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Merchandising or Marketing
2. A minimum 5 years of related experience
3. Proven analytical experience required, expect to provide examples of setting merchandise test cases, analyzing results using web analytics, and putting in an action plan for improvement.
4. Previous internet experience required
5. Experience with Demandware, Hybris, or similar content management is preferred.
