Description
JOB FUNCTION:This position is to support PR, Consumer Engagement, and Education with the design of branded global and local events, including press events, consumer events and internal events.
DIRECT RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Work across Global Communications, Consumer Engagement and Education functions to conceptualize the most innovative and best in class events that can be tailored for press, consumer and internal.
• Work with GC to create scalable turnkey event guidelines for new market launches, new product launches and to re-support existing products, including tiered guidelines that fit a range of budgets and timelines.
• Work with GC to identify audience, themes, hosts and flow of events.
• Work with GC to brainstorm unique luxury event concepts and influencer and social digital activations
• Create, manage and track event P&L and timelines and logistical needs for global GC events.
• Partner with GC, ELC event team and Regions on TFB internal meetings to ensure on brand (TTT, RT, etc.).
• Support GC on TFI produced events (fashion shows, parties, etc).
• Help cascade event guidelines to key stakeholders in a timely and clear manner.
• Collaborate closely with Creative on concepts and renderings.
• Work with GC and directly with markets to track events to completion, and localize event designs when required.
• Follow production on site, including travel to US, EMEA, APAC, UK.
• Research and manage existing and new vendor relationships, including local production companies. Also new technology and production concepts.
• Provide timely updates and event recaps to key stakeholders.
Qualifications
RECOMMENDED REQUIREMENTS:
Looking for a creative individual who also has strategic and detailed thinking.
Knowledge of design, lighting, sound, video, photography and social media.
Bachelors degree required. 8-10 years experience required.
Good communications skills, solid organizational skills, visual skills and ability to prioritize a must.
An interest in the cosmetic industry, fashion trends, pop culture and new media is necessary.
Some public relations/communications experience is helpful, but not required.
Must be willing to travel.
