Company Fall 2017 Internship Program

Interns are placed in key departments and work closely with a dedicated team who provide mentorship and support while educating them on the aspects of our business that are unique to that department.
Our program is designed to provide real life business experience that enhances academic learning. We offer the opportunity to learn about our business from the inside, to network with industry executives and to gain invaluable insight through challenging projects.
The diversity of our operations has recently created an opportunity for a Brand Content/Marketing Intern, located at our New York offices. The purpose of this internship is to expose students to the retail marketing process-including but not limited to Brand Content planning and to provide a thorough understanding of the responsibilities of a Content Strategist.
GOALS OF INTERNSHIP:
• Learn to create content to help the team in upcoming planning and strategy
• Research new innovative ideas for upcoming campaigns
• Create insertion orders for upcoming print advertising
• Develop marketing campaign recaps from print newspaper advertising that includes product details for store communication team
• Work with retail marketing team to spot check weekly mall postings both Deals & Newsworthy posts
• Assist Brand Content team with competitive research
• Work with Copy team to shape brand voice through email, site and print assets
• Help with fact-checking and proofreading of all print assets prior to finalization
• Assist in creating content strategies to tell messages across channels
• Support strategy execution in organizing assets and supporting their deployment
Skills/Requirements
SKILLS, INTERESTS AND CLASSES PREFERRED:
• Marketing, English, Communications or Business majors preferred
• Candidate must be a current student enrolled in the process of seeking Bachelor’s degree
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, with strong skills in PowerPoint, Adobe InDesign
• Students with an eye for design—both digital and print
• Strong collaboration and organizational skills, ability to multi-task
