Under the supervision of the Senior Manager and Director of Digital Revenue Operations, the AdOps manager (based either in NYC or Emmaus, PA) will serve as player and coach to the ad trafficking team (based in Emmaus, PA). The AdOps manager will be able to directly impact and grow digital revenues through effective training and leading by example. S/he will also work collaboratively with the Media Planning and Account Strategy manager to ensure harmony across AdOps, Account Strategy, and Media Planning groups within the RevOps team to ensure that all digital advertising campaigns are executed flawlessly and delivered to client satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
• Supervise, mentor, and develop career paths of direct reports.
• Work closely with Senior Manager to establish ad trafficking best practices and documentation to maximize the team’s productivity and efficiency.
• Provide back-up support to RevOps Director in advising the Site Product team on ad server capabilities as it pertains to new ad product ideation and development.
• Serve as primary point of contact for ad specs and technical issue management/troubleshooting.
• Assist the programmatic team with trafficking and maintaining network price priority line items in DFP.
• Be the subject matter expert in all things DFP, AdValidation, TEADS, LiveIntent, Nativo, and Flipboard.
• Lead AdOps-related conversations and updates during weekly RevOps meetings.
• Manage the execution and fulfillment of complex digital ad campaigns.
Required Qualifications/Skills:
• A minimum of 2-3 years online ad operations experience with at least 1 year in a supervisory role
• Knowledge of the online advertising industry, technologies, and pricing and inventory
• Comfortable with quantitative analysis
• Professional maturity, integrity, discipline and a positive attitude
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, constantly evolving team environment
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills are essential
• Excellent verbal and written presentation skills
• Familiarity with DoubleClick DFP, DFA, Atlas, Comscore Media Metrix, Google Analytics, Nativo, LiveIntent, Flipboard and Rich Media vendors a plus
• BA/BS degree
