Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:
• Contribute to the execution of the adidas Japan organization’s operational and commercial strategies by managing key initiatives, projects, cross-functional projects; be an active team member in cross-functional teams
• Support the mid-/long-term planning of the business
• Contribute to the management of both business and organizational changes through all aspects of change management including internal communication.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management
• Lead and drive key digital strategic initiatives cross-channel and cross-departmental. For 2nd tier digital projects involvement through milestones and KPI management, ensuring keeping momentum and alignment with roadmap
• Create full visibility and accountability for all digital strategic projects within aJapan
• Implement and review standard project management approach and efficient communication methodology together with Senior Manager, Business Manager.
Digital Transformation
• Identify and develop digital transformation strategic milestones aligning with organization strategies.
• Implement and optimize digital vision and roadmap for aJapan in alignment with the strategies and priorities of the adidas Global Sales organization’s strategy and principles.
• Act as key enabler for the digital transformation journey of the organization
• Communicate updates to the Japan Executive Team regarding the strategic insights and subsequently developed initiatives in a consistent and effective manner in alignment with the Senior Director, Business Development
• Build a network acting as focal point between local and global functions and other key support functions to ensure identification of relevant projects
• Support Managing Director and senior management team in facilitating strategic priorities, monitoring and reporting business KPIs to key stakeholders

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Previous experience in digital transformation processes. Experience in developing digital initiatives and projects
• Previous experience of applying new technology and digital capabilities, while understanding impact on business KPIs
• Strong collaboration skills with the ability to create effective, deep and successful working relationships across all levels of the organization and multiple departments
• Understanding of change management processes
• Good communication and written skills
• Team player and can work independently with confidence in making decisions
• Always open to new ideas and embrace change with creativity
Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
• University degree in business studies/marketing/communication,
• +5 years work experience of project management working on digital initiatives within digital agency or multi-brand organization
• Cross-functional experience, ideally within marketing and sales on a Market level
• Global mind-set and ability to work cross-culturally
• Passion for sports
• Proficient in English both written and verbal (German or other European languages a plus)
