Vice President, Operations - Too Faced
Description
The Vice President, Operations will be responsible for the strategic development and management of all product operations for Too Faced Cosmetics, including the global supply chain. The position requires an experienced retail operations leader who has made a significant impact by establishing both a strategic and tactical direction to further operational effectiveness. The Vice President, Operations will provide a comprehensive vision and organizational leadership to maximize the service from vendors, minimize costs, and maintain the high quality of Too Faced products. This position will report to the Global Brand President and be based out of the Too Faced Corporate Headquarters located in Irvine, California.
Responsibilities
• Provide leadership to management within Production, Production & Inventory Management, Supply Chain, and Customer Service- prioritize goals, provide guidance, and create cohesive working relationships company-wide
• Responsible for Supply Chain Management and Inventory Planning; Build the supply chain team with an analytical approach to purchasing decisions to maintain a high level of order fulfillment, while minimizing the TFC investment in inventory
• Lead the sourcing process at TFC, focusing on improving vendor performance as well as competitive bidding and supplier identification
• Plan and execute strategies to enhance profitability, productivity and efficiency throughout the company’s operational infrastructure to meet Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
• Evolve and execute multi-year strategic operational plan, while cohesively driving this plan throughout the business
• Create and execute production plans that optimize turn time and expedite merchandise through operations and distribution in an accurate and cost-effective manner
• Partner with Product Development and other key internal partners to determine delivery timelines for new product launches, develop action plans and ensure commitments are fulfilled to support rapid growth and maximize target market penetration
• Develop plans to control budget spending, labor efficiency, customer service and order processing performance
• Focus on the tools and metrics that maximize capacity and resource utilization, shorten lead-time, improve quality and inventory levels
Qualifications
• Bachelors’ Degree in business related field
• 15+ years’ experience in Operations/Supply Chain developing plans to reduce operating expenses and meeting KPI’s in a fast-paced, high-growth company
• Ability to develop and manage resources by creating budgets, developing management control systems and monitoring operational spending
• Ability to successfully communicate with and engage cross-functional teams
• Knowledge with Material Requirements Planning/ Enterprise Resource Planning (MRP/ERP) systems
• Proven leadership skills to hire, develop and retain top talent within Operations
• Track record of improving lead times, quality and deliverables
• Playing a strategic role with the executive team to provide operational strategies for continuous growth and process improvement methods
