Manager, Sports Marketing, adidas Golf
Purpose
& Overall Relevance for the Organization:
The Sports Marketing Manager has an objective to carry out tour-related support to assist in the development and administration of overall sports marketing programmes assigned products and/or athletes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Propose seasonal plans to Brand Director around core sports categories where athletes, teams, events, and celebrities combine with effective communications to provide the authentic link to our products.
• Identify and recruit talent in key sports categories to present aG KOREA brand. Negotiate and execute contracts with athletes and teams.
• Build strategic alliances with key figures and key influencers in sports industry ie coaches, trainers, federations, and celebrities.
• Actively plan and execute sponsored events.
• Conduct market research by direct contact with selected sports teams/people and internal contacts.
• Developing a relevant sports marketing structure for teams, athletes and events.
• Build and maintain a portfolio of athletes, teams and events in-line with key marketing objectives.
• Co-ordinate the acquisition, servicing and divestiture of teams and athletes.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with athletes and team management.
• Align key athletes with major events and activities.
• Assist in the management of team budgets, contra issues and raise purchase orders.
• Organise and monitor product availability- forecast/order/facilitate IFOT delivery to customer.
• Lead a sports marketing team

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
• Minimum 7 years experience in sports marketing or golf industry
• Experience in event management
• Have an exceptional sense of style in golf apparel
• Golf Handicap(required): at least 15 or below
• Advanced spoken and written English
