General Description
The social media and mobile marketing specialist contributes to the company success by being responsible for daily execution and planning for the respective channel’s initiatives. This role will work with the Digital Marketing Manager of Mobile & Social Media to customize brand-led marketing strategies to ensure local relevance, quality growth and maximize impact and results.
Performance Requirements
• Responsible for day-to-day planning and execution of customer-facing messages across social media and mobile platforms for the Plus Segment brands
• Engage with external vendors in support of social and mobile marketing campaigns
• Execute projects related to activation of sweepstakes, contests, influencer takeovers and live events
• Maintain mobile and social media marketing calendars
• Collaborate with creative, PR and CRM partners to deliver brand-right messages to the right clients
• Deliver weekly reporting across established KPIs
• Familiarity with social media management tools such as Sprinklr, Hootsuite, Olapic etc.
• Evaluate new techniques, platforms and partners to grow reach and engagement across the social and mobile landscape
Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in communications, marketing, or the equivalent
• Clear understanding of social media sites (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, YouTube and Tumblr)
• Familiarity with mobile marketing
• Strong critical thinking and analytical skills
• Strong conceptual thinking and experience in executing social media & mobile strategy
• Understand how to increase customer engagement as well as drive strong ROI
• Knowledge of top of industry trends, the latest social media and mobile marketing advancements and relevant campaigns.
• Be comfortable with social media tracking, Omniture, Microsoft Excel and reporting on performance/campaigns.
• Retail/Fashion industry experience preferred
• 2-3 years working in a similar role within a brand or agency
