We are recruiting for a full time Travel Retail Intern (1 year contract) to support the Travel Retail division of Michael Kors across Europe for this dynamic, fast paced and innovative brand.
Major responsibilities include but are not limited to:
General
• Supporting Dept store AE by using Qlik system to pull order/shipping reports/ATS inventory
• Supporting Dept store AE by being reactive to sales– organising stock swaps and reorders by looking at current sales, stock and Visual Merchandising, together with Retail Development team
• Assist with the organising of samples and showroom set up
• Work with AEs on Department Store assortments based on seasonal buy analysis
• Checking weekly shipping and finance reports. Raising issues to AEs
• Chase outstanding sell thru reports for Planning Team
• Prepare seasonal product presentation based on the buy of each door
Sales
• Responsible for local independent locations
• Aim to build profile and increase volume, distribution and profit in line with the company’s philosophy
• Work with AE and Planner to determine budgets (per account/per door) that are challenging whilst being achievable
• Maintain +3 FY forecasts broken down by season at all times so senior management can review at any time
• Increase business through correct product mix
• Use all information available within the company to drive efficiency and results, seasonal sales analysis, monthly product recaps
• Use Qlik to view orders and order status
• Market showroom for seasonal prep and sales campaign
• Travel and prospection between the markets
• Working with CS and Finance: checking weekly shipping and finance reports: Raising issues to stores in a timely manner
• Ensure shipping of product is on time and cleared before the end of each season working in conjunction with CS, Finance and Logistics.
• Complete Framework and T&C agreements where applicable
• Ensure the NOS programme is kept up to date at all times and stock on hand review on a weekly basis
Order Management
• Raising of orders on COE system. Sending downloads to CS.
• Proactive checking to ensure booking report matches orders raised prior to market deadline
• Notifying customers of cancellations and any other changes to original order, eg.price changes, code discrepancies, size scale changes. Suggesting replacement items where applicable (maintain budget)
Customer Liaison
• Ensure all customers are aware of when to contact customer services (Pos/ PO queries/ deliveries)
• Booking of showroom appointments and updating diary.
• Assisting with and taking Market Appointments
• Maintaining seasonal account lists: buyer contact information etc
• Managing customer account queries; forwarding and resolving queries with CS/Finance
• Support AEs in completing Framework and T&Cs agreements
• Update customers with latest Press and any relevant information
• Organise samples for customer press days and presentations
• Following up emails / communications when Dept store AE is out of the office
• Providing images from Sandbox to authorised customers
