Jo Malone London is recruiting for the new and exciting role of Global Social Media Coordinator.
The Global Social Media Coordinator will be responsible for organising key functions and operations of the Global Social Media Team. From acting as a liaison to markets, to implementing and managing global social campaigns. The Coordinator will be responsible for helping to drive success of the brand’s social activities globally and in key markets, while ensuring we are delivering strong KPIs and growth across our all social platforms.
Measuring and analysing our social activity globally and across all markets is critical to the success of the brand. An essential function of this position will be measuring, synthesising, and reporting on all monthly, quarterly, and annual activity for the Global Social Media team, including competitor activity.
The candidate needs to have a willingness and ability to work independently as well as collaboratively and cross-functionally with other departments; a creative, analytical, and enthusiastic individual who is highly engaged in social media and has a strong understanding of the influencers and competitor landscape.
This is a new and vital role within a very fast paced and evolving environment; multi-tasking while maintaining a holistic overview of all local markets, the brand, and world of social media will be key.
This role will report to the Global Social Media Manager and will be supported by the Global Social Media Assistant and Trainee.
Job Requirements
• Liaising with and acting as the first point of contact for select markets from questions on day to day social activities to helping implement a local in-market campaign
• Act as programme lead and project manager for select campaigns, from planning and execution to reporting
• Preparing paid social guidelines for market implementation and producing recap programme reports
• Support and help implement all global communications social initiatives
• Maintain a high level of presentation and attention to detail in preparation of document
• Developing monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting documenting the brands social media activities globally and by market, utilising reporting tools such as Socialbakers and Sysomos
• Ongoing research, monitoring, and reporting of key competitors in the social landscape
Qualifications
Ideal Candidate:
• Have a strong background in social media; preferably within the luxury industry, and be an organised and motivated individual with a strong attention to detail.
• A strong background in paid social media, reporting and analytics and an affinity for pulling and interpreting reports based on social media
• Experience working with influencers and UGC
• Agency candidates will have exposure managing a varied portfolio of luxury retail, travel or home/interior design clients
• Excellent people skills are vital in order to build collaborative relationships within the organisation.
