Sr Art Director - Video:Become the Newest Member of the Vans Family
Vans is more than just any ordinary action sports footwear company. Our company values the voice of the youth, which is why it is powered by creative self-expression through outlets such as action sports, music, and street culture, to name a few. As the Video Director, your role is to create an overall vision of how you would treat a concept provided by the Creative lead. Your various responsibilities include all creative phases of production when developing branded content, such as commercials, social media spots, documentaries, original series, and films. We need an individual who is dedicated to the many responsibilities required of this role and is experienced enough to give creative direction. How You Will Move the Needle:
Involvement in the ideation process Develop treatments for various video concepts Create compelling storyboards Direct and oversee various shoots and ensure everyone is working towards an identical vision Develop both product and content stories Collaborate with the various creative and production teams Ability to shoot and edit
Skills for Success:
Years of Related Professional Experience: 7-10+ years
Educational/ Position Requirements:
• Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BS) and 5+ years of related experience
• Experience must include 7-10 years of experience in video production
• Experience in Action Sports production a plus
Skills:
• Excellent Interpersonal Communication

• Software: Adobe Suite (Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects a plus)
• Other software: fluent in Microsoft Word & Excel
Special Physical and/or Mental Requirements:
• Requires travel for video production. Approximately once per month.
• Long hours sitting/staring at a computer monitor
• Ability to be flexible in working late evenings/early mornings when needed to meet project deadlines
• Bend, lift, open, and move product and related production items varying in weight from 1 to 25 lbs. depending on need
