THE PURPOSE:
Manage all aspects of the photo studio and photo studio production.
THE ROLE (what you are accountable for)
• Manage all aspects of the photo studio and photo studio production including Ecommerce, Editorial and Flat photography.
• Manage photo shoot calendar and align dates cross functionally. Photo Studio Manager will work hand in hand with Marketing, Merchandising and Ecommerce.
• Manage Photo Studio Budget including the execution and tracking of all Purchase Orders and Invoices.
• Manage agency relationships.
• Manage cast & crew in alignment with Art Director.
• Manage merchandise samples. Responsible for checking-in, cross referencing shot list, un-tagging and organizing samples for every photo shoot. Maintain knowledge of location and status of samples at any given time throughout the studio production process. Manage the return of samples following photo shoot.
• Manage equipment.
• Image file management. Provide naming conventions to the DIT and ensure that Art Director’s selects & notes are carried through in retouching. Send final files to the e-commerce team. Photo Studio Manager will work hand in hand with in-house retoucher.
• Must have excellent understanding of product photography principles and product styling.
• Must be well organized and able to multitask.
• Must have ability to operate independently while establishing strong work relationships with co-workers and cross functional teams.
• Must be able to meet deadlines and work long hours if needed.
• Must foster a positive and motivating work environment, encouraging feedback and innovation.
YOU ARE:
A self-starter that has experience producing photo shoots and managing wardrobe samples. You have strong attention to detail and are calm under pressure. You are able to prioritize needs and create efficiencies. You are able to partner effectively with other departments inside and outside True Religion.
REQUIRED MINIMUM EXPERIENCE
• Minimum one year work experience in Film/Photo production.
• Minimum one year work experience in Wardrobe Department.
• High degree of proficiency in MS Office Suite, Outlook & Internet applications
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
• Previous experience in a similar role with a fashion brand
• Experience with e-commerce photo shoots
• Working on location / travel shoots
• Hosting casting go-sees and fittings
• Post Production supervision experience
