JOB PURPOSE
Diagnose business needs and, through partnership with the business leader, support the performance of the business through mastery of the organisation and people levers, notably organisation effectiveness, reward and talent.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Work within the chosen Burberry operating model and leverage each aspect to gain optimal performance.
• Lead the talent agenda in ensuring the essence and strategic intent is present in all three-year plans.
• Fully own and deploy the Multi Year Talent Plan (MYTP). Orchestrate resources inside and outside the geographic business/functional area in order to deliver the strategy.
• Build reliable, local succession pipelines that are diverse and relevant, contribute to the development of global talent pools and imaginatively and relentlessly acquire talent through the TBC talent engagement model/process.
• Frame global talent initiatives and capability programmes in the geographic business/functional area. Ultimately accountable for all interventions and implementation of globally designed leadership and development programmes.
• Develop and deploy a learning and development plan that is fully aligned to the MYTP present and future performance needs and which ensures the business has the capabilities available to meet it’s business plan.
• Own the governance of major geographic business/functional area change programmes.
• Manage/lead local union and/or employee forums.
PERSONAL PROFILE
• Proven track record in generalist HR role, preferably in a Fashion Retail
• Comfortable with matrix management structures
• Change management and ability to engage people in change
• Project management across multiple teams
• Global Mindset, and consistently challenging the status quo
