The Sales Assistant with report to the Senior Account Executive. This candidate will assist with the growth of the International territory for specialty, department store, distributor, and licensed accounts. The ideal candidate will demonstrate knowledge in sales account management as well as administrative support, practices, and procedures. The position relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish departmental goals.
Duties:
• Support International Team with Department Store, Specialty Boutique, Distributor, and Licensed business.
• Support Account Executives to maintain and grow relationships with clients
• Communicate with clients daily to provide sales and customer service support
• Manage order placement and order logs
• Work daily with Customer Service on order submission, auditing, and maintenance
• Maintain and review selling analysis for accounts on a weekly basis
• Review weekly shipping reports
• Create weekly ATS reports
• Participate in representing and/or selling the brands at tradeshows and markets
• Assist with logistics, sample management, and preparation for tradeshows, NY Market, and Paris Market
• Create sales packets for Product Knowledge Seminars and market appointments
• Provide accounts with seasonal marketing materials
• Assist Account Executives with travel preparations
• Maintain tradeshow, NY and Paris Market calendars for sales team
• Maintains awareness of the general retail market
• Responsible for Joor uploads and maintenance
• Assist with general duties as assigned
Skills/Qualifications:
• 1-2 years of sales, intern or showroom experience
• Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
• Strong skills and experience in written correspondence, ability to correspond in a more formal context
• Working knowledge of MS Word, Outlook, Power Point, Excel, and Adobe
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high performance environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy, accountability and professionalism
• Exceptional follow-up skills and ability to analyze work-load and plan accordingly
• Strong social and communication skills
