Director, Bumble and Bumble Ecommerce & Retailer.com
Description
Director of Global eCommerce will manage overall eCommerce business and deliver sales for Bumble & Bumble including brand sites globally and all retailer web sites where Bb products are sold. The Director will also be responsible for the Retailer.com strategy and long term vision while leading Bumble & Bumble Retailer.com business to ensure overall sales growth and profitability.
Reporting to the Executive Director, Global Consumer Engagment this role will work strategically along-side the North America Marketing and Regional Directors to support and deliver sales targets and new business initiatives, building strong collaborative relationships with our top performing accounts’ eCommerce senior stakeholders (Nordstrom, Sephora, Ulta, BlueMercury.com, Birchbox)
The Director will also oversee a team responsible for the day-to-day online operations relating to ecommerce with oversight responsibility for operating metrics and key performance drivers such as conversion, qualified traffic and opt-ins, new buyers, repeat buyers, sales, average order and units per order.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Drive sustainable and profitable growth for brand sites and key Retailer.com accounts
• Ideate and implement long term growth plans that scale across all Retailer.com partners
• Lead partnership with cross functional stakeholders in order to influence and drive change
• Oversee channel businesses and relationships with online retailer business partners.
• Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders at Retailer partners
• Negotiate with retail partners to secure innovative and increased brand exposures across the Retailer’s digital customer touchpoint offerings
• Identify opportunities to build and drive both brand
• Oversee and ensure new programs/content grow within retailer.com businesses through implementation of special programs, customer acquisition and retention, and online marketing
• Monitor Online business performance to achieve fiscal sales goals, tracking overall accounts monthly sales targets
Qualifications:
• Must have a proven track record of direct and online marketing including at least 5-7 years in a commercially minded role. eCommerce or catalog experience strongly preferred.
• Must be able to translate offline brand vision to the online channel and execute strategies that lead the company consistently towards that vision. Must mirror the values and positioning of the brand at all times.
• Strong skills in strategy and planning, budget and P&L management, merchandising and marketing, and vendor selection and management
• Proven leadership and team management skills derived from having direct responsibility for building and managing a cohesive, high-performing team
• Needs to be a creative thinker and problem solver, thrive in fast paced environment, prioritize and oversee multiple projects at once, have attention to detail and work well with cross functional teams.
• Big-picture thinker and experience in a dynamic, high-growth environment
• Must possess excellent creative, organizational, verbal and written communication skills
• Strong analytical and project management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
• BA/BS required, MBA preferred.
