Manager, Global Creative Services, MAC
POSITION SUMMARY:
Manage creative projects from inception to completion across an array of creative disciplines and marketing channels including but not limited to Fashion Weeks, loyalty program support, MAC AIDS Fund, consumer and industry events, educational content etc. through effective project management, collaborative mindset and efficient communication to all departments involved regarding objectives, procedures, quality, timelines and budgets.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
• Collaborate with business counterparts to ensure clear understanding and communication of the business objectives and requirements of the project to the creative project teams. Thoroughly review and gather all pertinent information for project requests and develop schedules for creative execution where needed
• Manage responsible elements of overarching project timelines through collaboration with all team members and proactive and clear communication and coordination with key stakeholders and project teams
• Manage each phase of the internal and external approval process, including copy, layouts, final art, proofing, production costs, samples, creative UAT where applicable
• Deliver assets to specification across an array of creative media including print/3D, online, interactive, apps experiential, etc.
• Collaborate with vendors to provide cost estimates and samples of Print/3D collatoral while ensuring delivery within budget and timing requirements, managing approvals with stakeholders where necesssary
• Manage and develop Assistant Manager as well as support their direct reports where needed
• Attend weekly Creative status meetings to maintain efficient coordination of projects. Meet bi-weekly or monthly with business counterparts to update and advise any changes to current and up-coming projects
• Implement and support change management of new Creative Services processes and tools with business and creative team counterparts
• Continuously maintain/update Creative Services status report
• Ensure physical samples as well as digital assets are properly archived
Qualifications
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
• College degree preferred
• 5+ years of related experience
• Excellent organization and communication skills
• Ownership of projects and follow through on details
• Ability to build strong professional relationships and provide exceptional “customer service” to a large team
• Good working knowledge of creation and production of cross-discipline artwork
• Ability to work in a very fast-paced, open environment
• Travel: 5%
