POSITION SUMMARY
The Sr. Director, Sales Planning & Marketing manages and directs all aspects of the Sales, Sales Planning and Marketing functions for the Brand with DSG. This position is responsible for developing and executing business strategies, P&L, new growth initiatives, key sales planning and Marketing strategies, budget and execution.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Direct P&L activities for the brand, including any decision which directly affects sales and profits, strategic direction, and day to day marketing activities.
• Develop and execute brand and product strategy for the brand in support of the company’s overall financial and strategic directives. Develops brand and product positioning and leads the effort to develop, identify, and execute growth opportunities according to market conditions and that also fits into organizations long term vision and strategic growth.
• Manage the DSG Go To Market strategy through work with Merchandising, Product and Marketing teams.
• Manage seasonal sales forecasting.
SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS
• 15+ total years related job experience with 7-10 years of management experience
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent from a four-year college required
• Strong Brand Strategy skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically PowerPoint
• Strong presentation skills
• Detail oriented and able to multi task
• Analytical skills
• Leadership skills
• High customer focus with the ability to drive for results with minimal supervision
• Ability to work/communicate with all levels of the organization
• Develops collaborative and diverse relationships
• Ability to understand, assess & problem solve
• Ability to work independently and acquire new knowledge as necessary for tasks or projects
