Senior Marketing Executive (M.A.C) - Singapore Affiliate
Description
PRIMARY FUNCTION
• To assist Senior Marketing Manager and work closely with Regional team to plan and execute all retail marketing events & strategies to meet overall brand objectives
• To assist Senior Marketing Manager to plan and execute and work closely with Product Marketing (CRM) and Senior Retail Manager on pre-briefing and execution of makeup services
• Plan and execute on Brand’s Promotional Calendar in order to meet Brand’s strategic priorities
• On-going collaboration with Retailers on campaigns, trade requests, promotions and communication proposals to stabilize and drive the Partner Store channel
• To assist Senior Marketing Manager to develop, plan and execute all MPMP & Artist relations strategies to ensure overall brand objectives are achieved
• Provides information and programs to consumer groups as required such as community organizations and professional trade associations. (MPMP)
• Assist Senior Marketing Manager to build an ongoing relationship with the MPMP (including targeted groups such as makeup schools and industry makeup artists) to promote brand awareness and engagement.
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
RETAIL EVENTS (EDUCATIONAL / ENTERTAINMENT) & MAKEUP SERVICES
• To assist Senior Marketing Manager on planning retail events for all stores and working closing with Regional Events Team, Affiliate Product Marketing, MRO & SRM, AT&D on execution of all retail events.
• To assist Senior Marketing Manager and work closely with all Senior Retail Manager on conducting different level of retail events including M.A.C 123, Techniques, Fashion Forward, Collection Launches and all Consumer In-store Engagement activities.
• To manage roll-out of Events through liaising with vendors and manage event process from planning to execution within allocated budget
• To follow up on execution of retail event with Retail Managers on pre-briefing, as well as execution of all promotional materials, set-up, event concept management.
• To conduct post mortem analysis by preparing report on ROI, of all the retail events.
• To collaborate with Senior Marketing Manager on the planning and execution of makeup services including collateral execution, communications, codes implementation, pricing / redeemable strategy. To conduct monthly analysis on makeup services performance by door.
PROMOTIONS / TRADE MARKETING
• Work closely with Senior Marketing Manager to plan and maintain a Brand promotional calendar that is aligned with Brand’s Business needs.
• Execute all promotional tools, communications in-store and brief Retail Managers on promotional updates.
• Support Senior Marketing Manager in follow-up with Retailers on partnerships of Retailer Store Events, Retailer Communication or in all other third party marketing partnerships
• Track all Promotional campaigns to understand insights and ROI with post-mortem analysis.
• Quarterly meet-up with Retailers to update and align on campaigns, business status and upcoming business opportunities
MPMP / ARTIST RELATIONS
• Develop and monitor the annual AR & MPMP plan & budget in line with the affiliate brand’s Business/Marketing priorities & strategies. Reviews and updates Plan & Budget on a timely basis.
• Assist Marketing department in attending all AR requests from the Media, Influencers and Free-lance makeup artists and the community.
• Follow up & arrange products for Theatre groups that are on a contract basis (e.g. WildRice)
• Screen through all sponsorship requests and issue AR (Non-paid) Sponsorship Letters upon approval from MM.
• Point of Contact between production house and stores to support on all AR and sponsorship matters.
• To assist MM and work closely with Communications Manager to organize and present all Industry & MPMP events.
• Assist and coordinate all product sponsorships for internal and external activities such as for production houses, celebrities, industry makeup artists, Make up academy, colleges and theaters. (Non-paid).
• Handle all requests and issues related to MAC Pro membership (MPMP) matters internally and externally.
• Work closely with Event Artists in meeting with the event producers, event coordinators and stylists to establish the details of backstage events.
• Work closely with Event Artist by participating in activities which are focused on the Professional Makeup Artist and entertainment industry such as backstage and theater.
• Builds an on-going relationship with both MPMP community and Makeup Schools/Academy to ensure timely, accurate, positive and continuous support from both products sponsor and MPMP retail business.
QUALIFICATION:
• Minimum Diploma/ Degree with 5 years of relevant experience.
• Good coordination skills and able to work with minimal supervision i.e. able to work independently.
• Good working knowledge of computer software (Excel, Word and PowerPoint). Numeric ability is essential.
• Meticulous, highly organized, adaptable and able to perform a variety of tasks in a fast-paced environment. Good follow-up skills balancing between speed and details. Result orientated.
• Good communication skills and fluent in both written and oral English. Comfortable managing and supervising people.
• Professional attitude and ability to be flexible and deal with change.
