Director, Planning - SCM
Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:
• This position is responsible for DC capacity and operations planning to enable DC operations in meeting business targets and customer demand. The person will also play a critical role in establishing and in enhancing end-to-end Sales and Operations Planning for 3-DC planning.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform all DCs including our own DCs and 3PL DCs’ storage and processing capacity and operations planning, for DC Operations to deliver products and service to customers, based the agreed service level agreement.
• Lead DC planning team to act as a heart of DC operations from demand forecast to daily DC throughput forecast and task scheduling. Consolidate demand forecast of all sales channels and brands including WS. OWS and eCom. Levelling inbound arrivals. Monitor order demand fulfilment on daily basis. Identify alerts in capacity issues in advance to work out solutions proactively. Measure and improve KPI and report order fulfilment at S&OP monthly meetings
• Understand DC floor operations to review, analyse and improve DC pre-wave planning for the best utilization of equipment and people resources.
• Understand business model and end to end process from range planning to product arrival. Play a critical role on behalf of logistics in communicating across S&OP teams, and provide logistics support and solutions according to specific needs and requirements. Respond to exceptional/urgent demand by setting up effective x-functional working process with clear R&R.
• Drive initiatives on logistics planning and management for enhancing operational capabilities and improving service level; contribute directly to S&OP continuous enhancement with optimization of service, efficiency and cost.
• Maintain a working knowledge of relevant technology/systems that supports DC Planning and KPI reporting, provide properly structured input and feedback to IT and Systems regarding ongoing issues and further enhancement
• Build and manage a capable and efficient working team. Set performance target with high standards, provide frequent coaching and feedback, proactively identify training and development needs, and drive continuous improvement of the planning team. Demand team’s in-depth understanding of end-to-end business process, to work together more effectively with other functions.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• 8+ years working experience in supply chain related area with at least 5 years’ experience in a managerial position
• Knowledge and experiences in Sales and Operations Planning/Demand Planning/Supply Planning are required, experiences in ERP and Warehouse Management System are preferred
• Proven track record in project management, change management, process standardization and influencing others
• Demonstrated business sense, reasoning, analytical skills and critical thinking
• Ability to work effectively at all levels to develop solutions, address conflicts, drive plan execution and evaluate results for further optimization
• Excellent organizational skills with ability to work well under pressure and deadlines
• Excellent communication skills in both Mandarin and English
• Self-motivated, open-minded and detail oriented
Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree or above in technical/quantitative discipline, Supply Chain / Logistics related major preferred
• Experience in retail/fashion a plus
