Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an entrepreneurial data-driven decision maker to join our growing Western Europe eCommerce organization within the adidas Group.
Working within the Consumer Experience and Site Merchandise team, they’ll be supporting the execution of our site merchandising strategy, ensuring we’re adapting both our site & product presentation to the needs of our consumer base and inline with our wider business objectives.
The candidate should have a strong commercial sensibility, and a desire to get hands on in both product presentation and consumer experience. You will have a direct impact on what a consumer sees and experiences on adidas.com
Our goal is to evolve the Site & Consumer Experience so that when a consumer leaves our touch point, we not only meeting their expectations, but we are exceeding them - this role is key for delivering on this goal.
Key Responsibilities:
• Drive key site merchandising and consumer experience KPIs through search, projects and product content initiatives
• Strive for continuous improvement through the execution of the roadmap and 90 day plans
• Enhance product performance through improvements to filtering, search, navigation and product content
• Review and take appropriate action on various onsite search objectives which include, but are not limited to, reducing null results, improving underperforming searches, ensuring results are accurate and relevant
• Assess the impact website amendments and initiatives have in terms of the site and consumer experiences, striving for continual improvement and optimization
• Utilize data in conjunction with consumer feedback to identify problematic areas and opportunities
• Be an advocate by highlighting product wins, losses and missed opportunities to the wider organisation.
• Define and initiate relevant AB tests to maximise consumer experience and conversion
• Work closely with other eCom teams ensuring our websites display relevant, logical site experiences through merchandising and onsite search.
• Provide support across wider projects in both site merchandising and consumer experience.
• Analyse and communicate out weekly traffic, product performance trends and other relevant insights to a wider stakeholder group.
• Analyse and communicate seasonal / quarterly / yearly search trends and missed opportunities to the wider organisation.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Data driven mindset. If you do not have a passion for data, this role is not for you.
• Strong affinity towards eCommerce
• AB/MVT testing experience
• Exposure to Web analytics
• Strong communication skills - adapting your message to the intended audience is key
• Fluent English (+ ideally one other European language)
Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
• At least 1-2+ years of relevant experience in e-commerce.
• BA / BS in Merchandising, Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field (Master’s / Graduate qualification a plus).
